Why do people keep saying the Cincy was less talented than Vandy in 2011? Cincy was ranked. Just because Cincy was in the Big East and Vandy is in the SEC?

Ha, I didn't think I had said anything about CBJ. I had to go back and look at my posts to be sure. :)

But no, I don't think we should complain about it. I think he's where he needs to be for the time being.

Many of my friends are all over the CBJ wagon, and I'm starting to be. So far, he's done everything right. The thing that is currently keeping me from putting my other leg in the wagon and going full speed ahead is that we still have to prove ourselves on the field. CBJ had success at CMU and Cincy, but I want to see improvements here before we start moving him up the "rankings."

I'm just happy that for the first time since Fulmer was fired, we have a coach with an actual winning record.

As much as I've grown to love Butch, I'm ok with this ranking(for now)! Franklins ranking isn't even laughable its mind numbing. He won 9 games at Vandy, Whoopty doo!! Who did he beat in the SEC to make him a top 5 SEC coach? He beat a Dooley coached Tennessee team, and oh yea, he lost to one too. Gimme a break!!

So, let me get this straight, it's a knock on franklin that vanderbilt was better than 9 teams they played last year.

Isnt vandy supposed to be worse than everyone else?

i hate vandy but he has done some amazing stuff with those losers from west end. also, imo spurrier is the best just dont have the talent as bama

Butch Jones only has 1 win against a ranked team and that was last year against Va Tech who finished 7-6.

Is Butch Jones a legitimate SEC coach? I think so and I think a lot of Vol fans think so as well.

These rankings don't mean much after-all. Saban and Spurrier are at the top. After that you have Miles, Sumlin, & Richt. The last 9 are pretty interchangeable to a certain degree.

Fine, he's the greatest coach in the history of Vanderbilt! He is not the 5th best coach in the SEC. Beat a top SEC school like Bama, UF, UGA, LSU, A&M, USC and maybe ill at least say he belongs. Fifth best in the SEC, lmao hell no!!
