Petrino's big east had miami contending for NC and VT in it when he coached there. He was crankin those offenses like a mad man at UL before bolting to NFL. Arky recruitting boosted 4 fold because an NFL coach that was successful in the then good big east was making a move there. There is more to stories than just some dude showed up and was a diamond in the rough when it comes to recruiting.

Look at Strong's recruiting with Florida. It was top notch. Give him an appealing, SEC job, and he runs with it.

The talent's all relative in the Big East, and Strong has them going to a BCS bowl.

And dooley destroyed there conference champions last year by 20. It just isn't adding up to me, and I am not trying to be a smart ass to everyone, but it just isn't making sense to me that he was this diamond in the rough and the he was the real reason UF succeeded either.

He was the reason there Defense was so good. He's a well-respected defensive mind, and his teams have shown great improvement from when he took over.

It's fine you're skeptical, and I know you'll give him a chance. I just wish everyone else that disagrees would do the same.

Yeah but you are basing his coaching ability solely on what his record is, 24-14, at Louisville. Your not looking at how he has turned that program around and brought them from the ground, he sells players on going there when they really have nothing to offer. You give him our facilities, recruiting budget and program history and he will do great. Also, Brian Kelly came from the Big East where is this year?

32 people voted to have Dooley back? Do they want Can't-Coach Dooley or the $5M he made off with?

I will just say this. I fell much better candidates didn't get considered: however, I also realize that I am not always right. That being said I know that Strong is the next Vol coach. Therefore, I have nothing else negative to say about our new coach. He has my full support! I know he is better than Dooley and he doesn't deserve to be judged by any relative criteria. Fresh start! I am behind him and the program!

Rivals

30 Rutgers

53 Cincinnati

55 Connecticut

70 South Florida

71 Louisville

Since you're so interested in recruiting rankings, I thought I should post the last 3 Big East recruiting rankings since Strong has been there.

2010- #2 in Big East
2011- #1 in Big East
2012- #2 in Big East

Oh and in 2009 Louisville was #6 in the Big East and 76th in the nation...

Louisville also has 12 seniors so its not like they need 20 commits like Rutgers currently has...

I swear, if a stranger walked up to some of you and gave you a 1000.00 dollars for no reason, you'd bit** about it and then demand more.

Save your breath ory, you can't argue with an idiot.

If he would have done his homework on CSS before opening his mouth and inserting foot,he would have looked at the rooster and what strong has recruited to UL and where these kids are from Official Football Roster - Louisville Cardinals Official Athletic Site

And that's getting kids to go to UL from FL,GA, and KY, and the talent he recruits from KY aren't stellar by any means but the man can flat out coach. But as I said, you can't argue with an idiot.

I hope this happens 2m! The more I research Strong the more excited I get about what he could do with our recruiting budget and facilities. It's amazing he could get kids to go to Uof L...it's just a basketball school...a good football season for them is a luxury. Win/Win for both parties imo. I'm officially on the Strong Train! Get it done Hart!

Worst poll options I've ever seen,'can't go from the worst coach TN has ever had to a double... crapStrong is a single at most,'most likely an infield fly
