Also, please make a link to where these teams actually OFFERED.
A official visit doesn't guarantee an offer, unless you are TN. haha!
If he had offers, you would think he would actually visit other schools and not take the first offer.
Complete guess, but I'll say yemi and Landry go, makes room for Thompson and Ndiaye. Like I said complete guess and probably fueled by some bias.
Did you not read the quote? It says those teams offered, but that after his visit here he knew that this is where he wanted to go so he cancelled his other visits...that happens all the time.
And he didn't take the first offer, he had offers from other schools way before Tennessee offered...I wish people would get their facts straight before posting, would save a lot of time and energy.
That is the only place I have ever seen that claims other offers for this kid........how much confusion was there whether or not he actually had a real Tennessee offer......I really doubt these other schools were recruiting him that hard.
Well I've not seen it denied, if you wanna provide something saying otherwise I'm all ears...I provided a quote that says he did, I've heard other places he had those visits planned. Auburn had the story of his commitment on their scout site, so obviously there was some interest in him if his commitment to Tennessee made their scout site.
When do schools come out and deny offers based on a random quote......none of the reputable sites show an offer from anyone but Tennessee.....could be why he jumped so fast at our offer......the rivals guy acted like he didn't know who he was.....that's pretty telling don't u think?
Who gives a crap? All the whining isn't gonna change the fact that he wanted to be a Vol. We're not asking him to play 30 minutes a game next year. Let him come in and be a role player and if he develops great and if he doesn't then he transfers and we bring someone else in. This kid wanted to be a Vol and whether or not you guys agree with it he's one of us now and deserves our support.
I'm glad this kid has at least one fan supporting him. The whining as you call it is that after 3 years recruiting, Vol fans think they deserve better players to root for than the new JV recruit that CCM has brought in. Everyone knows that one of the most important positions of need is the post for recruiting. Everyone knew that there was uncertainty at the end of this year with Maymon's health, Stokes maybe going pro, and both more than likely gone after next year. Most fans EXPECT more from CCM, so I think they are not "whining" about the new JV, but whining as you put it about CCM recruiting efforts.
