i just wanted to get everyone's attention. As all of you know, our future vols get on here and can see what people are saying. CBJ is working on bringing us back. These are not his players. I have 100% faith in him. We have to trust him. If we are bashing him on here the recruits are gonna read it and could possibly leave after reading all the negative bull sh_t. We all knew that this year was gonna be tough, REALLY tough. We just have to trust CBJ. How into our tradition was Kif or Dooley? This guy is in it to win it. I just want to keep the top 5 recruiting class that we currently have. Negavols bash away. Supporters, help me out! GO BIG ORANGE!!

This post is GREATNESS!...have faith true Vol fans...there are more of USthan them! You want an example of how it's done? Try Washington...the Huskies hired Sarkisian the same year we unleashed the Lanetrain...much less hoopla and lower ranked recruiting classes. Not privy to Huskynation chatter but I'm sure they had their share of rumblings...stayed the course through ups and downs and now that proud program is beginning to reap the benefits...I'm not crazy about what I'm seeing on the field but I believe in Butch,Bajakian AND Jancek...Yes him too...Sarkisian ended up hiring Wilcox and Sirmon away from us to fix that deficiency...I don't envision that panic button five games in. Butch is most likely very tempted to burn a red shirt or two when he sees those Worley misfires, odds are it will happen but it's obvious that he prefers the two youngins duke it out after a year of beefing up and film study. Coach Fulmer would have had them on the field...then off the field...back in...back out...question their parentage...back in....Sorry son, psychological exam isn't covered, maybe fake a knee injury and get some painkillers. Butch, as social media savvy a coach that has ever been, hears all this noise and holds true. Ok I'm a sheep with orange shades...whatever you need. I let the man do his thing. When they start winning we'll be here...You guys go fix USC or Texas if you can't wait :yess: :huggy::search:

My only criticisms are that he's too stubborn regarding the freshmen. I could understand it if Worley was even an average SEC QB, but he's proven to be an average Sun Belt QB, at best.

If neither Freshmen have any juice then either they cannot coach/develop and/or evaluate talent. We have had true freshmen start in the past (Peyton, Casey, Ainge and Schaeffer), so it's bitterly frustrating when it appears to us fans that he's not even giving either of them a chance to show what they have. They can't prove jack squat with very limited 2-3rd team reps in practice.

The other criticism I have is that this team has 3 WR's...all 4* recruits (so they aren't scrubs)...that are 6'4" to 6'5" and they rarely use all that size. Harris is sitting over on the sideline. Can't use that size sitting on the bench.
I agree snd would like to point out that red shirting both freshmen seems pointless. At least let one get some experience do he can prepare to lead us next year instead of going thru thus again next year too. I am behind Butch. However, we simply do not have a QB now. We need to prepare one now

How does starting to prepare a Qb now help is now??? Would winning 6games to get bowl eligible and get an extra month of practice, game study, and one on one coaching not be better than not getting all of those? Guys the coaches see them everyday in practice so we see that the freshman must not be performing in practice. Might be a maturity thing. Let's get to a bowl and then we will worry about next year. Never lose sight of the goals!!!!

While I agree that recruits read this board, the coaches' recruiting prowess and the product on the field will determine who signs with us in February.

Also, I think Twitter and Facebook have far greater potential for negative effects.

Honestly, I question the mental faculties of recruits who would allow a message board to affect a decision so important.

Seriously, this. Let's keep blaming the fans.

On field performance and potential are what recruits look at, not message board chatter. They typically want three things, be on a successful team, individual success and development for the NFL.

If a messageboard is the basis of your decision, then you were just looking for a reason to say no. Hell, if I was recruit, I'd be happy the fanbase was passionate and didn't find mediocre to be okay.

As for CBJ, all I hear is blah, blah, blah, excuse, excuse, excuse. We've played poorly. The head coach is paid to be accountable. The odds may not favor him but he knew the job coming in. He accepted the job and the expectations it carries. Yeah, he may not have the best talent in the SEC, but he should have more than enough talent to keep the South Alabama's of the world from keeping the score so close. Apparently the coaches need to spend a little more time focusing on what they have instead of focusing on what they want. Good coaches adjust to the players they have.

we play 14 freshman and you BIT*H that CBJ doesn't play freshman? REALLY! Did you watch the unbelieveable implosion that happened in Florida? It is my opinion that CBJ made a point... There is nothing better on our roster right now. He kept Peterman in for nearly a half to prove a point. Given another quarter and I think Worley could have possibly won that game...

CBJ is making good calls on players. Each week(if you know what to look for) our team is growing. Especially wide receivers. But you probably don't know anything more than whatever Verne "Oh My" Lundquidst says.

Continue to sit on your ass and type stupid comments about how dumb the guy is that is getting paid millions based on his ability to make a decision. I venture to guess you don't draw that kind of coin... (I don't, and I make some pretty big decisions)
