I trust our coach too, but eventually push comes to shove. OU was undefeated and playing their biggest rival when they benched Rattler for a true freshman Caleb Williams on there way to a win over Texas and an 11-2 season.

If Joe can’t improve, the rest of the team deserves a QB that gives them a better chance. If Joe could somehow find a groove that would be optimal, but he hasn’t looked comfortable running the offense all year regardless of competition level.
Agree that the team deserves a QB that gives them the best chance to win. If that becomes Nico at some point, then I will be all in on Nico too. I am all in on Nico now as I think he is going to be special, but trust CJH enough to know when it is time.

On the no-call PI in the first quarter when Nimrod’s arm was held in the endzone as he was trying to catch the ball: yes it 100% should have been called, but Gary was also right, the ball was late being thrown as Nimrod had a couple of steps on the DB. Still doesn’t change the fact the PI should’ve been called though

DBs are taught to take down the arm like that when they are beaten…. the ref that was closest to the play was behind them and couldn’t see the arm dragged down…. Joe was late on almost all his throws last night.

Same could be said for Josephs.

Not a lot of sacks but he’s in the back field just as much as Pearce.

Pearce gets sacks though lol

Baron makes a lot of plays in the running game and moves inside when we go to the Rabbit package. Baron helps free up other guys. That said, Pearce has the highest ceiling of any DE we have had in a long time. Pearce, Joseph's and the studs we signed last year are going to be fun to watch the next couple of years.

Roman has been really solid too. Hope a couple of our DT's that have eligibility stay and T. West and D. Hobbs live up to their potential and we pick up a transfer DT or two and rotational edge player.

90/10 would be my assessment.

Low point of hospitality and sportsmanship was the crowd around us booing the other team and booing obviously hurt players. It was embarrassing.

High point was the Pride of the Southland Band playing the Aggies fight song to welcome them. I was very impressed by that and so were all the Aggies.

They did get really tired of Rocky Top. 😎

14-1 🤠

The booing was for perceived fake injuries. However, we need to learn not every injury is a fake. The Nolan injury where he was booed eventually became claps when he was being carted off and fans realized it was serious. We have got to move on from fake injuries unless we are playing the Lane Train.
