On the deep pass to Nimrod (not in the end zone), the official was 5 yards away and in perfect position. The defender again grabbed his arm and pulled it down. It was an easy call.DBs are taught to take down the arm like that when they are beaten…. the ref that was closest to the play was behind them and couldn’t see the arm dragged down…. Joe was late on almost all his throws last night.
Technically Harrison didn't whiff either. He was never close enough to him to whiff. He took some ridiculously bad path to the QB as if he had on beer goggles. It was strange. I watched it and said "where is he going?"Ah ok so he didn’t whiff, he tripped. The guy who whiffed was Harrison, like I said.
I had a long and winding post to refute what you said here, but I am going to let it go. You have made your opinion very clear on Milton and on why Heup won't play Nico. We are not going to agree so I am going to drop it. We are both Vols fans at the end of the day. It’s this simple, if the team revolts because you start someone over who the team feels should be the right person, you will lose and lose the team.
And did I say that? I said we are winning in spite of Milton because of good defense and a great running attack.
Don’t put words in my mouth.
Well, except for that terrific PBU on their last drive. It was TM, he tripped over his feet and ended up hugging the dirt from Johnson’s cleats. I hope we replace him, he is awful
