Heading into 21 we all thought he would be the best receiver in the offense. He was just in his head/didn't work hardPrior to Hyatt’s performance last year, no one thought that he would be the 22 version of himself either.
This staff can develop the players if the players put in the work required.
Exhibit #2: Wright at RB.
14-1 will improve many things for our program.
I think this is all true, but you can certainly become a game breaker with elite route running. Liked what I’ve seen from Nimrod on that front.Heading into 21 we all thought he would be the best receiver in the offense. He was just in his head/didn't work hard
Sure we didn't think he'd be running wide open all over the field, but Nimrod has not flashed the same speed or athleticism.
Average size, average athleticism.
Hyatt, Velus, Tillman and Bru all have great size, speed or athleticism.
Nimrod could be good, but I just don't see him being a gamebreaker because of his physical ability. He may become great at route running. I'll hold out hope for that. Otherwise he's no different than Holiday, Callaway or Merril.
