I had volunteered, but the last I checked, someone made one the first week at least.

Just let me know.
The Office Steve Carell GIF - The Office Steve Carell ...

Many times last year it didn't matter when the qb threw it, it was a matter of the receiver catching on the 20 or the 10 on the way to the endzone. The ball Keyton drop last week was an example, we had people that wide open all the time. The fear of JH created a lot of openings for the other receivers. That is a huge difference, there is no receiver that the defense is in abject fear of this year.
Joe is not seeing them...

I don't think people understand the effect of losing JH. He created a lot of openings for himself and others. He demanded extra attention from the defense. He made over the top safeties cheat, he made players in zone coverage cheat, in short we don't have that receiver now. We are starting to create the same effect with the running game.
We are still getting guys open...Joe is not seeing them.

It's a lot of words to say, in a roundabout way, that Heupel's offense is a gimmick. Guy makes it sound like it only works when you have a pro-bowl NFL QB, OL, and WRs.
We beat several teams in the past two years that out-talented us, and these geniuses make the statement that it won't work if we are out-talented. They also ignore the benefit of the wide splits (screens have defenders on an island) and claim the scheme opens you up to blitzes. Well, that's when you drop it in space to your safety valve and/or screens. The wide splits and vacated defenders give them all kinds of space.

Maybe... Just maybe... Our passing game sucks due to QB and WR problems.
