They most certainly are not. I rewatch every game sometimes multiple times and either joe overthrows, they drop it or it's blanket coverage almost every play.I believe they are.
Also Tillman got great separation. Dude was always speaking right by dudes because he'd throw them off at the LOS. We don't have anyone like that. Not like Hyatt. We have seen some guys get separation like a Tillman. But we haven’t seen many wide open verticals like Hyatt.
Just off memory, Joe missed Castles against AP when he was wide open. But Keyton has missed two perfect passes on open plays.
Tillman would also make the contested catches...Tillman catches the Pass that the PI wasn't called on Texas A&M at the 5 yard line that Squirrel didn't catch...Also Tillman got great separation. Dude was always speaking right by dudes because he'd throw them off at the LOS. We don't have anyone like that.
Exactly...that was a pure stupid hack job...and the negavol trolls here will lick thatNot really
Some gold points
Milton isn't as accurate and the OL hasn't been as good so he's had less time to set up those deep passes.
But then he said something truly stupid. "Heupel's offense is a great scheme IF you aren't at a talent disadvantage. The one team that put them at a clear disadvantage last year (UGA), destroyed them. But UT's 2022 squad had elite QB, OT, and WR play. 2023 much less so."
Anyone with a talent disadvantage struggles regardless of scheme lolol How about SEVEN pre-snap penalties? SIX false starts and one illegal formation penalty. That's 35 penalty yards lost before you even get to snap it. That alone has killed this offense. Same with the Florida game. Couple that with not being able to block anybody.
They also blamed the loss against USCjr on the offense??? And that Bama doesn't run this offense because they want better than 10-2....huh??
Then he says it would be perfect if when you get in the read zone it turns into a pro style offense. Pretty sure we were the best redzone offense in the country last year. We've sucked this year because we'll, worse o-line, WR's, penalties and QB. It's pretty simple.
They are just Heupel haters jealous that Heupel is smarter at football than everybody else.
Have you seen the Gameday thread created by @Glitch when Nick was busy and the onslaught of the game after??? Have you?? We’ve lived through the carnage. Those were some of our darkest days in the RF.I made it through the dark ages.
If Bama stops our running game, it will be because they sold out and loaded the box and made us throw it to win.Yeah this guy has a bias against Heups offense. I just watched their breakdown on YouTube and they basically just talked about Alabama. Don't think they've actually watched film.
They tried to say we ranked 110th against the run lol like no we are 9th in yards per carry given up and 20th in total yards per game allowed. Then he said that bama will "probably" stop our run game. Ummm you mean the one that just destroyed A&M's five stars? The best run game in the SEC? "Probably" going to stop it.
They also said bama was 2nd in sacks and we were 5th. No. We are 3rd and they are 4th per game.
Somehow the nerds did not bring up the fact that they are 126th in sacks allowed... we have the best pass rusher in the country and the team is the 3rd best in the country in sacks going up against their trash 126th pass pro.
Now Josh Pate remains as the only college football analyst (Klatt too maybe) to have brought that up.
@InVOLuntary looked an awful lot like a woman....@Weezer is purple. He should have gotten that last one!
I wonder how many of those other guys only have 80 carries on the season and, therefore, is gaining 10+ yards on 32.5% of his carries. It's truly amazing that he's leading that stat considering he only has 33.9% of our team's total rushes.
Makes sense Weez is here@InVOLuntary looked an awful lot like a woman....
I was wrong about the 90's movie. Had to ask my Hollywood source ( my wife). There's a skit that reenacts the Smith/Rock scene done by Dharr Man that has been circulated on the internet as a 90's movie scene. The original idea, I am told, is loosely based on "A Star Is Born" from 1954 with Judy Garland and James Mason. Sorry for the misinfo on the 90's movie.Which movie?
OkThey most certainly are not. I rewatch every game sometimes multiple times and either joe overthrows, they drop it or it's blanket coverage almost every play.
If guys were more open he'd hit more of them. Like we saw last year from Joe. Other than not checking it down here and there (rarely) I'm not seeing it.
If he were just not seeing wide open guys all over the field there would be a unanimous consensus here and a litany of examples.
Haven't heard former QB's like Erik Ainge talk about him missing guys all over the field. He's usually just off with accuracy or on longer developing plays he gets pressured.
This is still awesome
