when he at UCF…. he said that he calls all the plays…. doubt he gave it up when he moved up to a harder conference unless he really trusted the guy.
Well....something is off on the playcalling. We ran 5 swing pass for 2 yards. We've ran it 15 times all season for maybe 5. The play calling isn't the same. Idgaf what anyone says. Golesh would scheme your ass all over the field the last 2 seasons.

I know earlier this year there was a moment. Where I caught him telling Joe it's my fault and it was when we called a TO because they didn't get the play in.

We had Hendon Hooker….. Joe is more limited.

Would've been nice to have just called the exact series of offensive plays as in the 1st half. Can't believe it changed so much after halftime.
Bama switched up their defense a lil and gave us a different look. but running 3 straight plays on our first drive of the 2nd half was pathetic

While I agree, the strip was my last straw with him. YOU. JUST. CAN'T. DO. THAT period

The edge not only hesitated his rush, he stumbled, and STILL got there. Again, no awareness whatsoever.
i agree… He was trying to make a play….Having no running game/poor second half defense were bigger issues though.

This is exactly why we need to keep talking about officiating. It happens because fans like you and others bootlick for the the refs. With loud voices especially in the administration this will never change and we have to deal with crap like Tennessee vs bama
I thought Hype sent a clear message today without saying a word.

But apparently that isn’t Milton’s fault. Yet keeps happening with him because he can’t hit open receivers.

Did Milton have some good plays today? Yup he sure did. He was also bailed out by amazing catches today.
Other than Warren, who did he miss that was open? Even Warren was iffy because he got no lift and Milton should be throwing to a spot.

In the first FG, we ran, Castles was held, and the ball was tipped, and Milton threw wide because Sampson was held. In the second, Webb didn’t make a play, we ran, and then Warren.

I’m not sure some of you watch the same game that I do. No one was open that he missed.

Reading that quote was just frustrating as hell. I can excuse poor play sometimes but I can’t ever excuse lack of effort. It’s Alabama and we had players admitting that they basically gave up and thought it was over. Heupel’s inability to motivate his team to play on the road for 4 full quarters consistently is just….I don’t know. Frustrating. I’m still hot from the loss, but in the heat of the moment there are just a lot of things to question after that collapse.

Especially up 20 to 7 at their place😂
