My thing is!…as a highly recruited QB I’m talking top 5 in your class how do you make a appealing pitch as a HC to come here and be the difference just to sit? Future recruiting classes included..keep in mind other qb’s after Nico are watching this unfold…NIL’s are only going to make it extremely harder to keep players of Nico’s caliber around just to wait it out..at some point you have to play him to show future recruiting classes that you’re willing to play your best option to win even if that means playing a freshman.not to mention all the money you’ve thrown at him just to get him here.we’ve seen this movie before and it’s screaming JG all over again. I got totally flamed week in and week out because of how hard i was on JG until it just got to the point it was undeniable.

I didn't say Tennessee is an awful team. However, getting destroyed 27-0 in the 2nd half is an awful performance. If winning the 1st half makes you feel Ike a winner, then congrats to you.

He took over a program with impending sanctions, 20+ players in the transfer portal, and borderline fan apathy. Acting like we are too good for 9-3 (or better) in year 3 is insane. There are very few teams where it is playoff or bust every year, and we are not one of those teams. Benching a QB for no reason other than preparing for next year is a terrible message to send to this football team and the seniors who helped stop the decade-plus dumpster fire.

Not really, Nicos getting his NIL deal wether he plays or not. Him sitting the bench takes a year less of beatings on his body. What incentive does he really have to play early and risk injury?

Believe it was 2 games. Joe played 1 quarter vs pitt and got injured. He couldn't complete a pass hardly. Hendo came in a did ok, 2tds 200plus yds. 2 weeks later he lights up Mizzou. I think that's how it went. Idk. Just saying Heupel is set on joe and almost whiffed on Hendo

Second half

Three straight runs including a run on third and seven after dicing them up all first half.

Starts on the 4 yard line bs call.
After Joe picks up a first down with his legs and completes a pass under duress to Keyton a yard short of the first down Heupel inexplicably goes for it on 4th and 1 with a shotgun run play to a scat back.

Holding call derails the first drive, screen, run up the middle, third and 21 completes to Warren didn't convert (guess he should have completed a 3rd and 21, it's all on Joe!)

Then blindside sack fumble

Yeah totally all on Joe he should feel the guy coming after his tackle whiffs.
