During replay? To the replay booth on that designated headset.

During the game? Only each other, allegedly. Mike Pereira went ballistic on some officials a couple years ago because they seemed to be communicating with someone not on the field during the game. He said they were talking to the replay booth when they weren't supposed to.

The headsets they wear are basically two way radios, not cell phones. No way for them to (directly) communicate with anyone outside the stadium.

It's pretty damn ****** of Vegas to control the games AND hit me with - 110 vig.

It's also kind of curious how they always aim for a 50/50 split against the spread. Feels like a waste when they already know the outcome.

Or... Or... Vegas has no problem making money hand over fist without controlling the games and has no interest maintaining a conspiracy that involves thousands of independent actors.

Nah, that can't be it.

So Sankey told Saban last year “hey man sorry but Tennessee is gonna beat you and keep you out of the playoffs. They are gonna put more points than anyone has ever put on you at Bama. We are gonna let Jalin Hyatt win the Bilitnekoff award against you. And we are gonna penalize you 17 times for like 130 yards. “. That’s what happened right?
Uh no. I think Bama thought they would get away with every penalty they have been used to over the years. Unfortunately for your Tide, we were better. This year Saban and his Guliaini-esk dripping hair dye cried all offseason to change rules and make sure it wouldn't happen again. Congrats, you won.

I think the Bama game was lost on the sideline more than the roster. Below are some thoughts about Heupel. Would love to hear your thoughts.

✅ Heupel is Uber competitive, and that typically presents itself in the form of, “I’m going to score as many points as possible.” It’s been his path to victory as a head coach.

✅ This is the best defensive team he has ever had.

✅ in the 1st half he was pretty aggressive and it paid off by moving up and down the field, but he got conservative in the red zone with a lot of runs up the middle and safe throws.

✅ As the game progressed he got more and more conservative. Just a lot of “play it safe” play calling rather than his usual “try to score every possession” approach.

✅ But then his natural self would rise up and go for it on 4th down in Some questionable spots.

✅ Basically, I don’t think Heupel fully knows what to do with / how to manage the makeup of this team. He is still relatively early in his HC career. You can almost see his gears grinding with this group…”I’ve actually got a defense…my QB is a manger not a play maker…I don’t need as many points as I used to…but I’m a gunslinger by nature.”
My thoughts are we have a lot of “fans” that love to run down the coaches every chance they get.
Maybe he knows you can’t beat a better team, on the road by playing it “smart “ and conservative.
Maybe he doesn’t care what you armchair coaches that criticize the “safe and conservative” plays that don’t work,
And at the same time when he’s not conservative you criticize him for being “a gunslinger, and making “questionable decisions “.

My thoughts are we have a lot of dumb fans on Volnation.

Manning losing Heisman. Fact, not opinion.

ESPN outing Fulmer as the whistle-blower. Fact, not opinion.

ESPN (same reporter that outed Fulmer) leading the charge in 1999 about player's grades, academics, tutors, and violations...while almost crickets about FSU, North Carolina and others. Fact, not opinion.

Dylan Crews and Sonny DiChiara sharing SEC POTY in 2022. Fact, not opinion. While both were absolutely great, no one with a straight face can say Drew Gilbert wasn't the POTY...or, Trey Lipscomb. While that is an opinion, it's still FACT as FACT gets, and no one will ever convince me otherwise.

Only 2 player's off the 2022 baseball team made first team all conference. Fact, not opinion.

After Ole Miss game, the media, conference, and college football as a whole absolutely skull-drug us for throwing trash on the field, while crickets about everyone else doing it. Fact, not opinion.

Whenever I Googled "Tennessee football" this past week, the first three stories that popped up were stories from Alabama publications about Bama football. Fact, not opinion.

Officials absolutely ***** us this past Saturday. Fact, not opinion.

I could go on...

Now, I'm not trying to prove anything, anything at all, I only listed facts. And, as I said, I could go on and on and on for awhile, throughout 30+ years. Im not going to get into a back and forth about it...just showing that, no, it's not all "just opinions".
Facts.
