Is it going to be credible, not that it has to be, when Harbaugh pretends that he (Shultz voice) "knows nothing"? He is running the risk of being suspended for the first half of the spring game if someone connects all of those infractions with Harbaugh! In game is allowed. What's not allowed is in person scouting of opponents. Which is why it's a big deal.
I don't disagree with you...ive never believed in a conspiracy to keep us down...ive always said, what I do believe in is bad blood and corruption. Through that bad blood and corruption, Tennessee has had the screws put to us so much over the last 30 years (facts that i posted earlier, that i see you conviently ignored), people don't even need the Vaseline any longer. Do I believe UT is the only victim of bad blood and corruption? No. I believe Miami has felt it, Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU...all at some point in time.A lot better explanation than some wacky Q conspiracy level theory about SEC not letting Bama lose.
I was doing research at a school's library one day in midseason a few years ago and took an afternoon break to go watch their football team practice. Someone from the team came over and wanted to know who I was and what I was doing! It was easily cleared up and I stayed with their blessing for an hour before going back inside. In game is allowed. What's not allowed is in person scouting of opponents. Which is why it's a big deal.
If the refs were right all the time then we likely lose vs Alabama last year. Chase McGrath moves just enough here pre-snap that a flag could have been thrown for false start, but it was ignored/missed and we benefited.
I never noticed this during the game. Wasn't until AP brought it up recently that I found out about it. One of the worst spots of all timeTheir minds were still on the 3 yards they took from us prior. Good thing McGrath had JUST ENOUGH leg.

no way to prove it but i bet JG would do pretty well running the veer and shoot versus whatever pruitt called that offense.JG had an NFL RB, 3 NFL WR, 2 NFL OL, 1 NFL DL, and 3 NFL DB on that team. The coaching was god awful, but they didn't make him throw 2 pick-6's against Kentucky either.
JG had the easier 4-game schedule in non-hostile environments
He had 722 total yards, 7 total TD, and 6 total turnovers
Milton has 1,000 total yards, 6 total TD, and 5 total turnovers
with only 4 games to account for these numbers, Joe is having the better season. I expect the trend to continue and Joe to have a much better season than JG.
Hey, did you see the video from earlier today that showed that Telander did the exact same thing during the opening kickoff? Also the photo showing that not a single Bama defender paid the least attention to what Telander was doing on the occasion of the called penalty and that the ball was halfway to the goal line at the time.Where's the motion version of this? If he's waving his hands then they can win on a technicality. No waving allowed by anyone on the return team. Granted until our game and Iowa no one has ever applied that technicality, but still.
i think the call is garbage but the announcers wouldn’t know for sure why the call was made. The play happened in the 1st minute of the 2nd half. The pic I attached was after we went 3 and out, punted, and alabama had ran a few plays. That's when CBS showed Dee Williams "fair catch" signal and explained it as such. A WHOLE DAY later it was said that Telander had actually signaled fair catch from the front line and that's why the play was dead.
2 different stories for the fair catch.
IMO, If you're telling the truth, you do have to make it up as you go..... which is what's happening with the SEC office over this call
Dang, hate to hear that. As upset as we are right now about the game, this puts things in perspective. Hope you find your next job soon and that it's way better than the old one.Sorry if posted in the wrong place, but I got laid off yesterday (along with a lot of other people) after 18+ years with the same company. Got a little drunk last night, feeling pretty crappy and unmotivated today.
is it a penalty if we don’t return it?Hey, did you see the video from earlier today that showed that Telander did the exact same thing during the opening kickoff? Did you ever see a flag anywhere if you've rewatched the video? It seems weird to me that no flag was thrown, or at least I can't find one, and the announcers habitually call attention to a flag and speak about what the likely call may be. I suppose it is not an infraction, but simple a rule concerning the spot?
Or the extreme personal foul after the whistle. The whistle, incidentally, occurs just before anyone makes contact with Seldon. Not when he caught advanced the first step (that I can hear).
I really want to hear your take on the whole thing, a to z.
They spoke as if they did. I would guess that account was something put in the ear of the announcer by someone else at CBS. Not that anything turns on it.i think the call is garbage but the announcers wouldn’t know for sure why the call was made.
