Obviously, I disagree. Sure, there were some good throws that beat good coverage. There was also some poor DB play.

I think it was about 50/50 on some of the routes being wide open and UK just making some great passes and catches.

Watching the game, it was pretty clear what our defense wanted to do last night. They wanted to stop the run and make Leary beat us, while limiting the big play.

They succeeded at that. If our pass rush makes it home some or the refs actual call a hold against a UT opponent, that offensive output from Kentucky would have looked much worse.

We are to them what Florida is to us, but a bit worse for them.

I remember years ago learning about how deeply Kentucky hated us which struck me as weird because I never gave them much thought. Still don’t, but happy to whoop that Wildcat ace all the same.

I’m listening to the Kentucky Sports Radio post-game show and they are actually whining about officiating in a game they weren’t called for a single live-ball penalty.

Everyone thinks officiating is out to get them.

What was it? Seven seconds? I think it's very iffy and Heupel made the right call. You could throw a fade, I guess, but there could be a bad snap, a pick, a sack. Too risky IMO. And we did need those 3 points.

This, along with the lack of discipline on penalties are my biggest issues with our team. Our red zone offense needs to improve, even if that means slowing down when we get inside the 20 to actually run proper plays.

Well, it’s amazing how we got called for some pretty questionable holding calls, yet our DL was tackled, choked, and jerseys ripped off of them with nothing. The procedural penalties for us are very frustrating though.

SEC Football Final acting like KY won…sheesh they just hate TN

I also noticed on SEC Nation they showed the highlight of Bama's first TD in the second half against us. They were demonstrating how great their freshman OT played against James Pearce. Except, for some reason, they didn't show the other side of the line where the OL had a choke hold on Baron. I wonder why that is......

Charles Campbell had another great game for us last night. Four FG, three 40+ yards and we needed every point. He has been great for us this year.

Milton quietly had a nice night throwing the ball. This gives me hope.


Also, he finally tucked the ball and ran it for a first down on a pass play. This gives me more hope.

He would have had another first down on a great scramble but the refs called it back for a BS hold.

At first glance of that picture, I didn’t know if that was one of our DL getting tackled, or one of our offensive players being tackled. It’s hard to distinguish the two.

Said before the season that this was our clearest upgrade from the portal. His predecessor never has to buy his own drink in Knoxville per eternia, but he was good for several missed chip shots and XP's a season.

Coming in Thursday leaving Sunday. Any must do things while we’re there? Must eat at places? Any tailgating suggestions? I definitely want to see the Vol Walk, but other than that I’m very open.

I don’t know for sure but it’s almost certain to be 3:30 on CBS. Danielson already said during the TAMU game they were coming back for that.
