It happens a lot, but when the clock is under :10 and you let 3 whole seconds run off, it’s completely inexcusable.

They actually let 4 off. Went down to 6 and they moved it back to 7. We should have had 12 seconds left I think (from remembering my drunk calculations last night) at the moment squirrel was down

Said it a few weeks ago but it would be very wise to run some triple option. Obviously can’t change your offense half way through the season but you can sprinkle in a few new plays. Teams have started to crash the middle on first down to try to slow down the run game, especially in the 2nd half. It’s happened 3 games in a row now. It leaves the edge wide open and we haven’t taken advantage of it

I was just telling my dad that, im surprised we haven’t had plays with both Wright and Sampson in the backfield and at the very least give the defense something to look at

Bru’s way faster than Jauan. He doesn’t run a 4.3 or anything but easily a 4.5-4.6 guy. We’ve seen him run past db’s on deep balls plenty of times. Jauan ran a 4.8 at the combine. I think he’s definitely nfl ready as long as he recovers fully in time for the draft.

No… He is not in the stratosphere of 4.5. Go watch the Florida game from last year late in the first half. We have offensive lineman with better top end speed. He is going to do terrible at the combine because the 40 time will be over emphasized.

It was BYU..so I'm not making declarations. I was simply impressed by Maalik Murphy's makeup and confidence in his first start. Could be a Major Applewhite/Chris Simms comp.

Maybe I’m wrong, but did they not miss a horse collar tackle on Sampson on his run to the 40 with about 3 minutes left? It could have been huge. It would have taken it to the 25, and at that point, we needed another first down.
