I just wish we would quit with the staunch alternating of each RB each series. Wright goes hot to start the game and then BAM. Small’s up and totally kill the flow. I understand we have a 3 headed monster at RB but sometimes you gotta stay with the hot hand. I’m just venting, don’t really have a good resolution.
It’s pretty obvious in game that Wright is asking to be substituted.

An interesting QB I would like to see us swing for is Brock Vandagriff, his family apparently used to have season tickets here or his mom went to ut or something like that. But he is likely going to transfer, and he will likely have 2 years of eligibility and could really help our qb room

The open receivers are there...Joe just doesn't see the field as well as Hooker did. I'm proud of the way Joe is improving and making plays, but he is still isn't seeing the entire field like he needs to. We can definitely win with the type of play he has brought these last two games and hopefully he keeps settling in and sees the field better. Don't get me wrong, the receivers as a group haven't played up to what we saw from Hyatt and Bru, but Heupel's scheme is still getting guys open.
This👆🏻 on the end zone throw to squirrel Keyton was open underneath. I haven’t rewatched the game but there was another time Joe threw short and Keyton was wide open behind the defense.
Joe had one of his best games of the season but there’s plays still to be made. Maybe Nico is that guy🤷🏼‍♂️ if so 👀🧡

Trashing Kensucky's season on the road still feels good this morning. Joe Milton having his best game and 250+ yards rushing made up for it.

O-line needs depth. After the first five we have some issues. Add in the ever present secondary issues. Point of portal emphasis in the offseason?
If you haven’t listened to Doug Matthews Bid Orange Sunday, suggest you do. He touches on both OL and secondary and says we have to get better talent either by portal or recruiting. Has questions on the young OL that have been there 2 years. He is impressed with the LB improvement.

Rules state it is a delay of game penalty...just like saying hike or calling out cadence......some said it wasn't a penalty 🤨
Well, in my opinion, the DL shift is every bit as bad, and is simulating a snap! I noticed the UK DL would not only shift, but do this abrupt head movement to try to get our guys to jump. This is as much a delay of game as clapping your hands.

So?...in our case there is MOUNTAINS of evidence...at this point you have to be either a blind vacuous fool, or a disingenous deceitful apologist to disavow the obvious official bias against Tennessee.

Exactly. It’s one thing to groan and whine about officiating, it’s another when there is objective and mathematical evidence proving it.

That very well could be it. I have seen him do that more times than they probably like when they’re trying to go uptempo to eliminate subbing.
Yeah it’s what was giving UK the ability to slow sub in the first half. Wright was looking gassed pretty early last night and I think that was in part because they were getting some good shots in on him.

Didn’t see this addressed (tho I’m sure it’s been mentioned), but as an Eli Herring advocate who appreciates the strides he’s made this season, it’s inexcusable to repeat the clapping hand delay of game penalty from the previous week. It’s ok to do what works until your hand gets slapped. Doubling down with the brand name of the ruler still imprinted, smacks of lack of football intelligence imo.
Yeah that wasn't good back to back games . What I see from this , he's getting too excited and the game still hasn't slowed down for him. We're definitely going have to cut down on our penalties. There apparently not going to call penalties on whoever we're playing.

I can't help what rule book states but DL shifting has been around forever...hell I seen defensive ends roll to try to get Offense to flinch...

Do we think Pili will apply for an extra year of eligibility based off an injury waiver if he doesn’t come back this season?

We have a lot of young talent at LB that needs to keep playing and getting experience but Pili would still help that room a lot next year if he could come back.
Not sure.

But, when does Tennessee get to have depth?

Seems like every year we say 'well, we have to establish depth at that position.'

Wright looking or being gased has happened several times this season. For whatever reason his cardio can't keep up with his effort on the field.

Well having as many coaching changes as we’ve had is a bonafide depth killer, especially in the portal era.

This is the first time we’ve looked successful and stable at the same time in over a decade and a half at least and depth is finally starting to build.

I’d say we already have good depth at LB and RB but that’s also because they’re two of the smaller position groups overall so it’s easier to build there.
