Finally get to watch the game today. Saw bits and pieces, but hardly more than a few plays. Will this be an exciting watch like the score indicates or a frustrating one where fast forward should be applied liberally?
It’s good, running game was skrong. Go do chores when the defense is on the field from Q2 on though, and whenever the refs turn to face the camera.

Problem is Missouri has 3 receivers which one you taking away...Burden is obvious choice...61 receptions 14.8 yds a grab....okay that leaves Wease Jr.and Cooper with 36 and 28 grabs averaging 12.5 yds per catch between them.....Brady Cook hitting 69.8% of passes 15touchdowns and 3 picks makes him a big problem...
It's going to be a tough game...really tough. Mizzou is a really good team this year.

I was talking to @SugarCC last night and made the comment that it would suck because the weather up there will probably be pure garbage in mid Nov, but he rightly pointed out that the weather being cold, rainy and windy would actually help us because of the strength of our running game and hurt their passing offense.

So...I hope the weather is 35 degrees and drizzling with a 15 MPH crosswind....bring it on.

Just curious….. what do you suggest they do to fix it…. i know people mention making them full time officials…. Not sure if that is viable or would fix anything… What other suggestions do you have?

Yeah if bad angles are the issue and always will be with only a few officials trying to watch 22 players at full speed...then obviously need more officials. But then folks would be upset at "refs taking over games" because yes there'd be an increase in penalties.

Anyone know when the UT vs Georgia game time will be announced? My gf and I are trying to plan our trip to Knoxville for the game. This will be my first time back in 14 years. Coming in Thursday leaving Sunday. Any must do things while we’re there? Must eat at places? Any tailgating suggestions? I definitely want to see the Vol Walk, but other than that I’m very open.
Are you aware of how expensive the tickets are yet?

You know Tennessee as a program and brand are close to being “back” when I’ve seen countless tweets like this last night from Alabama, Florida, and Georgia fan site “reporters” whining about how Heupel is rightfully upset we have gotten zero calls for back to back weeks and honestly the entire year. Alabama had an off-week and Georgia and Florida played their rivalry game yet they’re out here whining about the Vols.

If he’s suggesting they can alter performance and show favoritism then why is everyone upset about michigans sign stealing. This is worse

We spent a couple of seasons writing Hadden off as a waste of scholarship and the coaches never wavered. Betting a different script with Brandon Turnage isn't in the works. Banks didn't believe Leary could make our DBs pay for playing soft zone to break in Hadden's replacement, shortly after Hadden had worked his way into being a dawg in tight man...that was a mistake imo.
It's undecidable because KY's OL being permitted to hold changed the outcomes in the secondary to KY's decided advantage.

Can you imagine being a defensive player in the 4th..wore out, winded and bruised from chasing and tackling Wright, Small and big ass Joe Milton all night...only to have this little bowling ball, absolute blur of a running back thrown at you? 😳

Kentucky is not like us...they have some good starting DL, but they are not deep like we are...they were wiped out at that point and it showed.

You’re doing percentages without looking at the entire equation…and all factors. No way to run a laboratory.
I just proved my point. If there are players out there that are potential starters or perceived upgrades on the Oline, you take them. Some might be further down a depth chart in a top end school and some maybe proven at a smaller school. The point is, if there isn’t any perceived development of a player, as a coach, you are obligated to upgrade. The portal allows some potential experienced upgrades and especially on the lines.

More worried about Missouri. 9-3 is looking more and more within reach. Also, starting to think we upset UGA
Yup, Mizzou worries me a bit tbh. haven't watched yet, but the passing defense stats look worrying. 350+ to Devin Leary?

I hate to know what Mizzou or UGA would do if we play like that.

Was the loss of Hadden readily apparent last night? We had a good pass D right up to the play Hadden went out. 3rd Q vs Bama through last night it looks like a different beast.

If we win out I think we still have a shot to make it in the playoffs even if UGA only loses to us.

Not saying we’re that good but we could sneak into the top 10 with a road win against Mizzou and a home victory against UGA.

Like that said last year, it’s better to lose earlier in the season than later.
So if we beat mizzou and UGA are we sec east Champs and play for sec championship?

Don’t have to watch a lot of them. This stat isn’t subjective. They snap the ball every 22.8 seconds which is faster than 120 teams in the nation. They are still fast, which was the original point.
No it's not. They're not as fast as us, which I'd the point. They check with me so much refs get a break, they don't get a break with our O.
