I don’t understand why Tennesseans are supposed to be excited about the Oilers theme going on here. Feels weird.
Because the Titans own that history. When they moved to Nashville they were the Oilers they are the original franchise.
Houston is a completely different franchise its not their history.

Yeah it’s what was giving UK the ability to slow sub in the first half. Wright was looking gassed pretty early last night and I think that was in part because they were getting some good shots in on him.
I wish that we would work on some play groupings where 2 of our rbs are out there for a whole drive....I think it would help with one RB getting wiped out so fast after running the ball 5-6 straight times in a minute.

All we would have to do is alternate them out to the slot as needed.

Everyone should stop and just appreciate where we are right now.

Are we gangbusters? Maybe not. But we will be 7-2 heading into the 2nd week of November.

The last time we had less than 3 losses heading into the 2nd weekend of November before last year?

2006.

Thank you Coach Meheupel!

We're winning despite not looking all that good. There are a lot of teams in the top 10 that have yet to lose that also fit that description. I haven't seen a lot of great looking teams this year. Just haven't. I think our season will hinge on the Mizzou game because even though UGA is coming to Neyland I don't think we're consistent enough on offense to challenge them.

And the hired guns from Birmingham will be there to call 15 penalties against us and one against Georgia.
Exactly...they are not letting us beat UGA.. we will have to do what was done last night...just take it anyway, but that is going to be a really tough row to hoe against one of the top three most deeply talented teams in the nation.

I think it could be done at home if it was just UGA to contend with...but beating them and the SEC hitmen...I mean officials..is a tall order.

If you can find plays of Jauan catching go route TD’s in stride like Bru did against FL or Pitt last year let me know.
Lol those were busted freaking plays dude. All of them. And most were out of the stack formations after we saw how they were playing us. Your football acumen is piss poor

So anyone else notice we finally had a WR running wide open who caught the ball? I'm really hoping the lights have come on a bit for Nimrod and Donte. They both looked better last night.
Joe getting out of the pocket and throwing on the run accurately was a big help.
