I thought once you run a play the previous play cannot be reviewed as well.
I seem to remember Juan torching ole boy from UF. Your post is not accurate. BRU is about the same speed as JJ. Both about the same size too. Give or take a few poundsYou mean against Florida when he tripped in stride? Bru’s a big dude if he has to make any changes in his stride it’s going to slow him down. And I said 4.5-4.6 but to be more specific I think he’s going to run in the high 4.5 to mid 4.6 range. He moves a lot like Dwayne Bowe who ran in that range. Bru’s gotta be at least 0.2 seconds faster than Jauan. He’s gotten behind defenders plenty of times on go routes which is something Jauan didn’t do at all in his time here. And there are definitely no olineman faster than him.
He made some pro throws last night for sure...I am really glad that he and Coen don't get another year to work together with Brown and Key and the TE (Dingle I think?) to throw to.Leary made some great passes. The zone is frustrating.
But people forget (or never knew) that in 2021, Leary had a 66% completion percentage, threw for 3400 yards, 35 TD’s, and 5 INT’s at NC State. I think he got hurt last year. He was probably looking bad this year because he’s at UK. He is not a bad QB.
I have had my fair share of moments questioning Milton this year. There have been times where I have wanted to move on and play Nico. But, it is getting exhausting seeing so many of our fans continuing to try and blame any of the adversity or struggles this team faces strictly on Joe. Honestly, Joe has played pretty well these past two weeks in two tough road games and our defense has been the annoyance.
We scored 33 points on the road last night, Joe played arguably his best game as a Vol, yet it is shocking how many of our own fans said Joe played poorly and almost cost us this game. We’re 6-2 or better after Halloween for just the 6th time in the 21st century….
Agree. Addition by subtraction in several position groups will be a good thing.
I appreciate McCollough and players like him, I do...they do the best they can; but, I am so ready for the younger guys to step in. Would love to see more John Slaughter, Jourdan Thomas. I hope and pray they have the speed and athletism that we desperately need in the secondary.
I could forgive McCollough's lack of speed and athletism in pass defense, if only he were a guy that will come up and make a big tackle, make plays at the line of scrimmage...he can't even do that. He knows nothing of attack. Again, I like him...he's kind of like Joe...I like them, good kids, appreciate them...can't wait till they're gone.
