Recruiting Football Talk VII

Number 1 and 4 ended up losing to South Carolina. I am convinced they cheated at this point. And it makes them the most hated team behind Florida for me. I literally hate SC more than Georgia and Bama
I think the networks, B1G, SEC, and national media members on the gravy-train are going to see to it that that (worst) part of the Michigan scandal is suppressed. It impugns the integrity last year's playoffs.

It's still not as bad as the ongoing SEC officiating scandal, imo. Which is being suppressed.

Looking back on the KY game. Our OL, WR, and DL HS recruiting may have been less than aces the previous two years. But, to get what this staff has gotten out of its transfers.

First, to evaluate who they wanted. To find them, land them, coach them, and to me the biggest difference is CJH projects no ego. He easily adapts if something isnt working. Dante Thornton was written off as a dud.

What's he do? Has a big game.

Close out this class and get to the portal.

Are you thinking those positions recruiting is less than aces bc they’re not playing as much right now……as RS Fr or true Fr? 😂

There is something to coaches making excuses being a signal of bad things to come

I really don't recall Heupel ever bad mouthing his roster in any way - he just talked about wanting to get the best out of them, and he has

All of our failed prior coaches have made an excuse one way or another.

Dooley: It’s about the process. Throwing his players under the bus, when things break down.

Butch: We’re in year zero. This is the first time 33 members of our team have flown on a plane before. We are raising a program.

Pruitt: We’ve had to lift weights. This roster is dogsh*t. I can’t do anything with this current crop of players.

Heupel: Nothing….but business and positivity.

CFP is actually separate from NCAA
So there you have it. CFP suppresses the story about it's own playoff because it's the NCAA's issue. The NCAA omits that portion of the investigation and suppresses the story because "not my playoff."

That Michigan almost certainly passed along its stolen signals to other teams in order to successfully alter the teams in the playoffs is the biggest part of the whole signal stealing scandal at Michigan.

It is so big, in fact, that it would need a penalty bigger than the NCAA would likely be willing to assess against Michigan.

And it would demonstrate that the integrity of last year's playoff was compromised.

That's why folks are saying it doesn't seem likely that a prosecutor would try to take it to court.

Makes sense. It looked intentional but unless he texted someone before the game that he was going to kick someone I don't see any way to prove it.

Talkin Vawls is pretty good but no info we don't get here. Blue-chip Breakdown is fantastic. Newer channel with lower production value but the host, Bull, is very knowledgeable and does deep dives into scheme and stats. He provides info you won't get from any other Youtuber or podcast.
I've seen @Enki_Amenra post the latter. I may have to give it a look. I figured I knew what was what from the player threads, but maybe I would enjoy it and learn a thing or two.

Depending on what the facts truly are in the end, CJH and any other coach that can be shown to be complicit should receive a lifetime show cause. If any of the AD knew about it, they should receive a like punishment for failure to monitor. UM themselves should receive a multi-year (5 or more) post season ban and dramatic scholarship reductions for the same time period. Additionally, if it can be shown that they provided information to other schools then similar punishments should be handed out to those schools and retribution made to any schools affected.

The refs will cook LSU no matter where the game is played. Fry 'em like a pound of bacon.
Why do the twitter "geniuses" at Message Board Geniuses go out of their way to continually prop up and defend the rigged SEC officiating? And why do they assail posts they dig up that recognize the endless evidence that Birmingham rigging is plainly the case?

All the fact checkers said Noah was crazy to build the ark...then it started raining and all the fact checkers drowned.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Birmingham officials start calling some penalties on Bama in cleanup time, if they can ever finally get the chance.*

It's a standard way for the Birmingham Alabama office to give the reality-deniers and trolls a few fake straws to grasp at. As everyone capable knows: excluding context is central troll and reality-denier "go to."

* They clearly didn't ever feel like our game was out of reach. (Nor was the second half at FL.)
