Recruiting Football Talk VII

I've seen @Enki_Amenra post the latter. I may have to give it a look. I figured I knew what was what from the player threads, but maybe I would enjoy it and learn a thing or two.
Blue-chip Breakdowns is great. He does recruit breakdowns, game/plays/player breakdowns and similar stuff. He has a likeable personality and is pretty smart when it comes to football. He also lets his family get involved sometimes and even the kids are pretty smart when talking about their football opinions. Not a huge channel, so its easy to ask him questions or request a specific breakdown. One of the better Vols fan channels.

He is a member on volnation, but I can't remember his screen name.

There is something to coaches making excuses being a signal of bad things to come

I really don't recall Heupel ever bad mouthing his roster in any way - he just talked about wanting to get the best out of them, and he has
Many assistant coaches that become head coaches fail to realize that you can say the same things in public or in the media about the team as you can in private to the team. Coaching them up is okay, calling them out or throwing them under the bus in public is not.

Depending on what the facts truly are in the end, CJH and any other coach that can be shown to be complicit should receive a lifetime show cause. If any of the AD knew about it, they should receive a like punishment for failure to monitor. UM themselves should receive a multi-year (5 or more) post season ban and dramatic scholarship reductions for the same time period. Additionally, if it can be shown that they provided information to other schools then similar punishments should be handed out to those schools and retribution made to any schools affected.
I agree if by CJH you meant Heup. If Michigan is proven guilty the the NCAA could feel totally justified in hitting Heup with a lifetime show cause.

Why do the twitter "geniuses" at Message Board Geniuses go out of their way to continually prop up and defend the rigged SEC officiating? And why do they assail posts they dig up that recognize the endless evidence that Birmingham rigging is plainly the case?
You are extremely lucky whoever runs that account doesn't check this sub-forum lol.

how is mizz doing this well this season? Transfer portal? Their QB? Easy schedule up front, but usually they drop one to SC or Ky... Hopefully they get beat up against Ga and we don't have another lopsided officiating game.
They're stealing signs with help from Harbaugh, course.

This is a real take from Alabama dot com. I just saw it. It's supposed to be a rebuttal to Heup's pointed silence in protest of the officiating in our game.

"Nick Saban pleaded on his Thursday radio show for the Tide faithful to be loud enough to impact the game just once. The announced attendance of 100,077 spectators...acquiesced.

"Multiple Vols drives stalled due to a holding call." [Then added some talk about Vol pre-snap penalties, trying to blend game-turning OL holding calls against UT in with false starts] [No mention of the complete lack of holding calls on Bama's OL, which were blatant.]

“Our fans were fantastic,” Saban said, “they had a huge impact on the game in terms of the penalties at the end of the game and not allowing them to score.”

See what they did and Saban insinuated there? They claimed it was the crowd noise -- not the vividly biased officiating -- that caused multiple holding calls on Tennessee. Those holding calls, in their own judgement "stalled" "multiple Vols drives."

And this in addition to ignoring the complete lack of holding calls on Bama, which were flagrant and constant and with no-calls occurring, in addition, on exact plays where Bama scored.

Sorry, was looking for the game officials for LSU-Bama and this cover story for biased officiating turned up instead in the search results.

So we've had some people say Pili is coming back soon and others say he's definitely done for the year?

What gives?

He probably had a partial tear in his tricep. Otherwise there's no way anyone thought he could have come back.

Google says partial tears take 8-12 weeks to heal and it will have been 9 weeks on Saturday.

You'd think since he's young, healthy and has our medical staff looking after him he should be about ready to go.

A lot of players have come back from this injury in a similar time frame.

Just some dumb luck!

We're not going to announce it prior to it happening, if it does happen; it's too soon to know, anyway; bad luck for sure.
