I can do the game thread, but you won’t be able to see it until after Thanksgiving…Someone cool and collected like @jave36 combined with or followed by someone who carries the eternal flame like @VolsDoc81TX or @SweetasSoda.
@Glitch's job is to bust into the room in his Vols regalia and set the tone.
@nicksjuzunk could just write the thread title and follow it with "GBO!" That would provide a way for the new people to leave the karmic aspect of the thread to Nick without taking Nick more than a minute or two max to do his job.
I'm sure I am leaving good options out. There are a lot of people here I did not mention who would do a great job. Someone help me out.
Interesting thoughts that seem very realistic. I bet if Joe pulls a Longest Yard and nails a few of them in the groin, they will stop being biased against us.On screwy officiating, I’ll say this then shut up.
I’ve been around corrupt politics to have a feel for what is likely at play. I think officials hate our style of play and hate getting assigned to our games. It’s fast, taxing, and stresses their limits. And we’re unapologetic about causing that stress.
This isn’t limited to SEC refs. There’s a very small group of people in the profession, and it’s an art to them. To make it up the ladder, you have to control the flow of the game. It gets into having to know who the star players are and letting them play without much interference. They don’t like being controlled, but to be in control. This is based on some inside knowledge I’ve acquired.
Back to political corruption, if you don’t pander, you’re exiled. Oh sure, politicians are great at appearances on the surface, but it’s a dirty game if you know what’s really going on.
How does this apply to officiating? College coaches have to pander to avoid being at odds with officials. If you make their job difficult, the small fraternity will exile you. Our unwavering style of play has exiled us from their good graces.
That’s exactly what we’re seeing this year. It’s not from the SEC office. Its that we make their job difficult, word travels, and they’re making it tough on us in return. Oh sure, Sankey knows what’s going on, but he’s not orchestrating it nor stepping in the way.
TL;DR: the ref system is broken
I agree to a lot of what you say and have dealt with my share of politicians back in my day. I also had a friend who was a Big 12 official back then as well, who went on to be a crew chief. You are heading down the right path IMOOn screwy officiating, I’ll say this then shut up.

And with that, DEVGRU was born.November 4, 1979
Iranian students in Tehran seized the U.S. Embassy and took 52 Americans hostage. The Iran Hostage Crisis lasted for 444 days and ended minutes after President Jimmy Carter left office in 1981.

I enjoy my man parts and breathing… something my lady would gladly take away if I was acting like urban in the barShe wasn't a coed. She was a marketing rep for one of his bar's suppliers iirc. He was her customer. I hope @mrMet is not out der grinding on folks like that.![]()
it use to happen a lot…. Tennessee use to punt the ball in warm ups and run through the other team on the way to the locker room during pre game… One time…. it started a huge fight with Vandy…. got us fired up and we put over 60 on them.Gotta ask how a coaching staff, admin, officials, troopers...anyone...would allow that situation to develop.
