I'm the OG on the Banks hate too. 😅
🤣 Yeah, along with a couple of others. Our good man @Smyrna ATL Vol comes to mind!, but he may be tending toward wait-and-see mode: I don't recall.

I'm willing to cut Banks some slack, seeing us improve with the talent improving. And I think he is up against a rigging Birmingham office on steroids this season, who has permitted opposition OLs to hold with impunity. That greatly neutralizes the strength of our defense and puts extra stress on the weakest link.

And some of the second half possession drive stuff that UConn racked up in the second half I attribute to someone needing to bleed the damn clock! We still didn't let them score. In fact, the defense was so good early in the third quarter, we were wondering when we would ever get to see Nico! And I think the three TDs our D racked up affected Nico's playing time some. We had so great a margin, it was sorta rude to run the full-on offense and pile up points, yet there was no real point in putting Nico and there just to hand the ball off. He sure did have moments of great flash, though, running to bona fide offense. Loved it. Great scoring drive.

Even if Tennessee wins out and the other dominoes fall out way I really doubt we get in. Scared them to much last year. Two loss Bama and a two loss UT, Bama gets it.
If those events happen as listed, we would have the most recent win over bama on a neutral field. We should hold the advantage.

B10 has the top 4 scoring defenses in the country, 6 of the top 20 defenses in yards allowed. SEC has 3 of the worst defenses in the country
Lol...everybody with any logical football sense know that is because nearly every B1G offense is complete and utter 🐕💩...not because their defenses are good and talented..

Come on man...you are being disingenuous because I know you ain't that dumb.

This is the stat that matters...the SEC puts more defenders in the league year after year after year than anybody else.

It must be a rule that every show on the SEC Network has to evolve in to a Nick Saban love fest! Trying to watch SEC this Morning and had to turn it off!

They have Milroe as Heisman winner and Bama in the playoffs! It’s sickening!
They are trying their best to let him ride off into the sunset on top.

Like all the other talking heads, it's marketing. Biirmingham rigged their team into unmerited contention, and now they have to finish the job. Too many people think talking heads are on the level. They sell whatever they have at hand as the best, like any salesman would.

I’m hoping that since mizzou also has 2 losses that it will be a level playing field. It would make sense.

I know, I know that I am a blind optimist.
First defensive play of the game have each ref as a designated target by a particular defensive player. “Accidentally run over them with their heads turned away so that they don’t see them.” Then the exact same thing on the first offensive play.

Then have CJH tell the closest official that they need to pay special attention to the game so that they don’t get run over again.

If they don’t get the hint, then have it rinse and repeat until it dawns on the referees… 😡
They let freakin AP and UConn maul our guys with no whistles...the opponent doesn’t matter..the reason doesn’t matter..all that matters is it is happening and will continue to happen until somebody does something to put a stop to it.

Jaylen Wright is 3rd in the SEC in rushing yards with 826. He has carried the ball 38 less times than Davis (2nd) and 52 less times than Schrader (1st), he leads the SEC in YPC though at 7.5

Small and Sampson are 16th/17th in rushing yards with 415 and 405 (both over 5 ypc) and Sampson is 7th for rushing TDs with 7.

RBU baby!!! Wondering when some of these 5 star RBs are going to wake the F up.

I absolutely love this!

Jay Graham on out offensive line: "Our guys love to pull. That's when you know you got a real guy. They don't pull tentative, man. They're like, 'slow feet don't eat.'... 'I'm going through you full speed. I'm on the train. You get off the tracks.'"

This is what I was talking about last week that we are not running just the normal zone blocking one might expect with this offense. We are emphasizing power football in the ground game.

Graham and Aaron Hayden: 2 great VFL RBs in that conversation, praising the big guys up front.

I have never been into this my conference is better than your conference BS......I want Tennessee and only Tennessee to win.......doesn't matter to me which Conference wins Championship or whose is better.....I love the Vols......well and the Dallas Cowboys...!😏😏😏😏
That's not the point....I don't have any love for the SEC...I hate em all...but the facts are that the SEC as a whole puts more people in the league year after year after year.

I agree on wanting most other SEC teams to lose though I do pull for Miss State and LSU in most of their games, especially non conference. My point is that SEC defenses and offenses regularly go against the best competition, outside of UGA recently.

Ohio State plays one team per year against a team that has a chance to beat them....and I don't mean their joke of a conference championship game with their heavily one-sided division.

ACC competition had gotten better this year with FSU up, UNC & Duke up and Clemson being solid still.

PAC has improved with 2 very legit teams in Oregon and Washington with USC being a solid team.....Utah being worse than expected hurts their depth.

Big 12 has Texas and a few also rans.

SEC still has the most top quality teams that can match up with most every team in the country. UGA, Bama, Vols, Ole Miss, LSU and Missouri this year. TAMU would have a much better record in any other league and so would UF and UK. Auburn is improving.

It’s early, but the line opened at -1.5 Mizzou yesterday. It has already changed 3 points to -1.5 TN. However, at this point, 77% bets have come on Mizzou and 55% money on TN. I have mentioned before that I don’t gamble, so someone correct me if I’m wrong. That tells me that bigger money has come on Tennessee for one. For two, that is a large jump in the line with a little over 50% of the money coming on us. If I’m correct in interpreting that, Vegas is saying they are begging for people to bet Missouri. So, do we actually see a favorable whistle this week for the first time all year?
No...we do not...because it ain't about gambling or anything else that makes sense from a business standpoint.

The fact is, this is Saban and Alabama, and Kirby and UGAs league...those programs not only hate us like in a personal sense, they both have a vested interest in Tennessee remaining a doormat.....I think it is that simple....it is stupid, but it is simple.

i would guess that a lot of them don’t feel like it translates to the NFL.
