Here's Drinkwitz on the officiating and Birmingham's role in it in his game against Georgia.

By the way, does anyone understand why someone from the SEC office in Birmingham participates in the replay reviews? It seems to raise all sorts of questions about the integrity of SEC replays.

Drinkwitz suggested that reporters contact Birmingham directly because he was not allowed to speak and the officials in the game offered him no kind of explanation, anyway, nor do they offer explanations to reporters.

LSU's Jayden Daniels has dropped completely out of the Heisman odds after that dirty hit no-call against Bama, if espn is reliable in this case. Last week he was third at +450.

Agreed. Kiffin is a sleazeball, but if he is willing to step on that soapbox and advocate for player safety through better officiating then I will applaud him for it.

Bama expects to get away with anything because that's the precedent. Nothing sticks to them. They'll keep doing what they're doing until enough people get hurt and the SEC is forced to stop them. Bama and UGA are cash cows. Other teams could be, but it's harder to get there than to stay there, especially when facing unfavorable scheduling. It will be hard to dethrone Saban or Kirby, which has given UT a very difficult path. But not impossible with UT's resources.

UT knows it has to take what it wants on the field. Sankey only stood with UT at the NCAA hearing because it was self-serving. CJH, Barnes and TV have put the SEC on notice-- we're coming. The unified support across UT's marquee sports is no accident-- that's the plan.

100% agree. Bama’s been getting away with everything go for years.
Kirby learned every Saban trick while he was at Bama.
Kirby even used it against Bama 2 years ago after losing the SEC championship game and took out Bama’s receivers eliminating the passing game to win the NC.
Took out Harrison jr last year when Ohio st put a scare in them.

Kelly should be raising hell about the dirty hit and no-call on a leading Heisman candidate.

Whether intentional and dirty or accidental, it was Targeting.

It’s atrocious that there wasn’t a flag!
Refs can’t get targeting wrong, if it’s questionable throw a flag.
They have a safety valve called replay, if it’s not targeting it’s overturned.

They knew it was, and didn’t call it because it would of hurt Bama.

I don't think any of those plays are dirty. Pushing Dart's head into the turf is a bisch move but not dirty. The hit on Daniels was face to face between two guys of similar height. The concussion was caused by the back of Daniel's head hitting the turf hard. Good football play by Turner and all pass rushers and defensive players in general need to have a mean streak while on the field.

Now, the legitimate question is would that have been called targeting if anyone else other than a player from UGA, OSU, Michigan, USC or maybe Texas did that to Bama's QB? I think it would have been called targeting but that's not Turner's fault and doesn't mean his play was targeting or dirty.

We lose if that happens. UK doesn’t have the WRs or QB that Mizzou does and they still dropped 27 on us.

Banks played more man in the second half which really changed the game on defense.

Play mizzou like usc and don’t give Cook a chance. Milton for 275 yards and 2 TDs, the RBs go off for 280 and 4 TDs. The defense scores at least once. Possibly a punt returned for a touchdown. 8 TDs should do it. Oh, and one rushing TD is by Warren a la Fant type score. If y’all would like a field goal or two instead of punts, I will allow it.
Statement game will new wrinkles on offense and defense just for kirby to have new worries.
