Coaches coach based on how the game is called…. I coach at the middle school level and we teach how to hold from mini-mites all the way through High School…. we also teach defensive lineman how to keep the lineman from getting a good grasp on you.
That is one of the most horrendous things about this consistent rigging. The book on us now is, among other things, to hold our DL every down until the officials stop it. It has to stick out like a sore thumb in the film that we are held often in a flagrant manner and nearly every down without any consequences at all.

It's a vicious circle. Excusing and thus endorsing past holding no-calls itself generates more holding. To turn it around, the officials will have to call holding early and probably multiple times before Mizzou will believe that something has changed. And they will have to be willing to do that without intentional make up calls.

It is also centered at a decisive spot for our defense as a whole. It neutralizes our defense's strength while dishonestly putting enormous stress on our weakest link in the secondary.

The only movie that truly scares me, and still does to this very day is The Exorcist. I tried watching it alone at like 8 years old, and it scarred me for life.
I saw the movie with about 6 friends (we were home from college on a break) and it truly frightened me - we drove to Johnson City from Kingsport to see it. Not one of us spoke the entire ride back home.

I read the book when I was in college. I lived off campus in an apartment with 3 roommates. They were all gone one evening and that’s when I read it - I read the entire book then burned it! The movie was scary but the book - scared the bejeebees out of me!!!

We looked lazy last night too but won by 38.
There was a tweet from one of the MSU fans about how irrelevant the exhibition was between UT and MSU. He said UT treated it like it was the Final Four and that MSU just approached it like a normal practice sesh. One other note here ,anyone who uses "sesh" needs a butt-whoopin'.

2018/19 roster is a tall order to top…let’s pump the brakes some..
This team may or may not have the talent of that team in terms of the starting 5. Only time will tell.

But I do think it is completely obvious even at this point that they are deeper and have more scoring options than that team had.

Anyone who watched it knows that is a lie. Their players like ours and their fans were absolutely bought in 100%. It was a big time atmosphere.

Basketball team may be the best we’ve had ever. I’m not exaggerating. We’ve had some damn good teams but they usually have a flaw. what is this team missing? Hard to pinpoint by just looking at them so far. I know it’s early and I know what matters this year is March and we know how that goes.
It’s missing the most important piece. A championship level coach.
