That is one of the most horrendous things about this consistent rigging. The book on us now is, among other things, to hold our DL every down until the officials stop it. It has to stick out like a sore thumb in the film that we are held often in a flagrant manner and nearly every down without any consequences at all.Coaches coach based on how the game is called…. I coach at the middle school level and we teach how to hold from mini-mites all the way through High School…. we also teach defensive lineman how to keep the lineman from getting a good grasp on you.
I saw the movie with about 6 friends (we were home from college on a break) and it truly frightened me - we drove to Johnson City from Kingsport to see it. Not one of us spoke the entire ride back home. The only movie that truly scares me, and still does to this very day is The Exorcist. I tried watching it alone at like 8 years old, and it scarred me for life.
There was a tweet from one of the MSU fans about how irrelevant the exhibition was between UT and MSU. He said UT treated it like it was the Final Four and that MSU just approached it like a normal practice sesh. One other note here ,anyone who uses "sesh" needs a butt-whoopin'.We looked lazy last night too but won by 38.
Anyone who watched it knows that is a lie. Their players like ours and their fans were absolutely bought in 100%. It was a big time atmosphere. There was a tweet from one of the MSU fans about how irrelevant the exhibition was between UT and MSU. It’s missing the most important piece. A championship level coach.Basketball team may be the best we’ve had ever. I’m not exaggerating. We’ve had some damn good teams but they usually have a flaw. what is this team missing? Hard to pinpoint by just looking at them so far. I know it’s early and I know what matters this year is March and we know how that goes.
