Say it louder, Tim. Needs more attention.

I don't think any of those plays are dirty. Pushing Dart's head into the turf is a bisch move but not dirty. The hit on Daniels was face to face between two guys of similar height. The concussion was caused by the back of Daniel's head hitting the turf hard. Good football play by Turner and all pass rushers and defensive players in general need to have a mean streak while on the field.

Now, the legitimate question is would that have been called targeting if anyone else other than a player from UGA, OSU, Michigan, USC or maybe Texas did that to Bama's QB? I think it would have been called targeting but that's not Turner's fault and doesn't mean his play was targeting or dirty.

This team may or may not have the talent of that team in terms of the starting 5. Only time will tell.

But I do think it is completely obvious even at this point that they are deeper and have more scoring options than that team had.

I mean Grant is probably the only guy that you can clearly say no one on current roster is on his level.
Admiral could say he's better than anyone on this roster too, but I think JJJ is pretty close when you factor in everything he does.

Kyle and Aidoo pretty even imo, Kyle saw more minutes and had more production from it, but I don't think either is a clearly better player

I don't think Bone, Bowden, Turner are anywhere near as good as Santi, ZZ, Gainey, or DK though.

Then you take into account the depth this year's team has with Freddie, JP, Awaka, Cade, DJ, and even Carr and it's just a crazy team. Obviously the depth/talent won't mean much if they don't deliver and perform. So long season ahead of them, don't know if 31-6 is where they end up...but with the depth at guard and the scoring ability that this squad has they might be a damn hard team to beat come March.

LSU should hold Jayden Daniels out of its game this week and talk about the dirty hit and the way Birmingham promoted and covered for it, and the fact that Turner has done this repeatedly because Bama does this kind of thing with impunity. And that it amounted to the Birmingham Office rigging the outcome to advance its preferred playoff team at the expense of brutalizing a Heisman candidate. Tell it before the game. Tell it to the sideline reporter. Tell it in post game. Let's have this out.

Tell the simple truth that Birmingham endangers player safety as a matter of policy to control which of its teams advance to the playoffs.

Let Texas and Ole Miss confirm it. They have both had their QBs intentionally injured by Saban's same Bama player in order to determine game outcomes. With zero response from the Birmingham office.

Birmingham needs to suspend Turner for the remainder of the year. And sanction Alabama.

The Bama player who tried to break or severely injury the neck of the LSU offensive lineman on the same play needs to be suspended for next week.

The Bama players involved in the assault on Telander need to be suspended. It doesn't matter if it was a couple of weeks ago. Birmingham has proven that it can post hoc suspend a player. In fact, they have proven that they can do anything they want.

Apparently Birmingham is going keep at it until a player is paralyzed or worse on the field. One doubts they would stop even then.

The Bama player on the outside had a handful of the LSU right tackle's jersey and the RT was selling it by leaning his head back as far as he could.

I hate bama and agree that they get blatantly biased officiating but it waters down the narrative when plays that aren't egregious or even deserving of a flag get brought into the discussion without the caveat being "We see Team X or Player X get called for a penalty on this same play so why didn't Bama?"

Nothing in those 4 clips from Dallas Turner were blatantly dirty. Bad facemasks happen to aggressive DL and LBs all the time, especially on a blitz. Most let go sooner but they aren't aiming for the facemask, it just happens. I see an aggressive athlete with a couple of borderline overly aggressive stuff.....pushing Dart's head down being a punk move (seen a UT DL do the same in the past few years and did get flagged for it).

The hit on Daniels was facemask to facemask with Turner's weight/momentum driving Daniels into the ground and unfortunately his head hit the ground first so it absorbed the majority of impact and lead to a concussion. Attention needs to be brought to officiating bias and certain teams playing by different rules but the waters should not be muddied by crying foul on borderline calls or calling plays dirty unless they actually are.
