No one said a single word about being a fan of Mulkey, no one...I think we're just big fans of reality.

Dear God, indeed.
Exactly...but I didn't feel like arguing over whatever a "public trendline" is...professionally speaking (you know actually at doing her job...which is coaching and winning basketball games, not whatever dumb 🐎💩 public trendlining is) the woman had great seasons before and after the commie pig played for her.

I think I was in Carrick Hall long time ago. Still remember students going out in the 'common area' and yelling for the females to throw out their panties.....oh, good times. Anybody around when the one guy was running for Student Body President and was blaring the msg "Who's your Pal? Big Al".
Yup. I think Opus from Bloom County ran one year also.

Except she ain't wrong. Below is her public trendline, the highlighted spot is when Baylor won it all with Griner. Her first title...nothing.

Griner was like Shaq entering college. All eyes on her and Kimmy definitely gained her attention (rightfully deserved to some degree)

She's a punk is the point. Dear god I can't accept we have Mulkey fans here.
Or... maybe Griner went there because Mulkey was a proven winner and had already won one. She did it at a school that had never won it. You all are acting like winning one is no big deal. And, oh yeah Summit and Geno were both coaching so the time. I don't like her but poo pooing a national championship is silly.

I know you are an official, but the tackle was made by grabbing the collar with both hands. I guess you are debating “immediately pulling him down” part of the rule, but he was tackled by the collar grab. If he grabs the collar to slow him down, and then tackles him around the waist, then I understand. But the force of the grab caused him to go down. In the argument for player safety, I don’t see how that tackle can be defended.
In high school the rule is pulled backwards or to the side. In college it says immediate. You are just never going to see it called when the runner ends up falling forward or if there is contact from a second defender. The rule is intended to prevent the runner’s legs from buckling underneath them. A defender can grab the nameplate/inside collar all day to slow the runner down. Heck you can grab the nameplate and hop on his back and ride him like a horse and it still isn’t a penalty.
