I know he's the pipe dream for a lot of fans, but does anyone think AM will throw the bag at Urban Meyer? They've shown money is no object, and there's got to be a number out there even he can't refuse.
Say 12 million over 10 years fully guranteed.

They have spent a lot of money for a long time (long before Jimbo) and have gotten very little return. Short burst here and there but not much considering the investment. Very difficult to overcome. culture. I compare ATM to Auburn, they both have a little brother mentality.

He doesn't have to be. Daniel Bituli wasn't a speed demon either. Getting a split get faster and adding lateral mobility and quickness = a couple more stops every game.

Look at the difference in Aaron Beasley from year to year. That's what offseason work does. Herring won't get that fast/quick, but he can improve. And a marginal improvement will go a long way on the field.

Anything else you'd like to be an a$$ about this morning?

I think I’m just upset about how we keep losing to teams we should beat and how it feels like our guys come out flat on the road…. Like is no one taking charge and pumping the team up at half time?

I dislike Milton talking trash when we can’t even sustain a drive…. I don’t care if the other team is talking you just look even more dumb talking it back when you can’t even back it up…..

The fact that we can’t do anything because teams aren’t afraid of Milton throwing on him. They are forcing him to throw intermediate and he just doesn’t do it.

The fact that this defense will look otherworldly one day And then lay a goose egg…. Or taking out Herring who is just getting ate up and putting in Tealander who is better who we get stops with then putting Herring back out there and we can’t get off the field…..

Those are the things that are frustrating. Especially the 2nd half stuff it was an issue last year and now this year, but at times it just seems like we don’t make any adjustments…. And if we are making adjustments we just suck at it.

I think we all need to temper expectations for next year. The o line, interior D line and defensive backfield, depth at linebacker, uncertainties at wr and TE.

There are a lot of question marks..... But the future is bright. I just don't see 2024 being THE year.

Are you really all-in if you continue to let the same boosters make the decisions while overpaying for mediocre results?

I really believe that this was in mind when the brought Pertrino on. Insurance and it would have been controversial to hire him as a head coach right off. Saban type rehabilitation.
