For a natty or just a good season? I see no reason why we can’t be 8-4 or 9-3 next year.I think we all need to temper expectations for next year. The o line, interior D line and defensive backfield, depth at linebacker, uncertainties at wr and TE.
There are a lot of question marks..... But the future is bright. I just don't see 2024 being THE year.
Its really just LoS and WR recruiting. Im jot sure what the issues were Y1 and Y2. But its hurting. We haven't recruited well enough for next year to be THE year. Not to mention we'll still be limited by scholarship reduction because of Dumbass Pruitt. Even if it's just two a year, that's a big deal on a team in serious need of depth. Nico could be all-world, but he can't do it by himself. I just don't see us having the horses for next year to be THE year. I mean, making the expanded playoffs? Sure, that's possible. But I don't see us winning the SEC or the NC. And I assume that's what people mean by THE year.
You have a different definition of "with a pulse" than most people here.Win the East
Make the final 4.
You can win 8 games and beat nobody with a pulse.
AM maybe but because of their talent. You have a different definition of "with a pulse" than most people here.
South Carolina, A&M, and UK have a pulse. Are they great teams? No, but they have a pulse. UVA, Austin Peay, UConn, Vandy, et al don't have a pulse. Beating nobody with a pulse yields 5, maybe 6 wins.
Kentucky under Mark Stoops is a team with a pulse. Especially when it comes to playing Tennessee at home.Lol, UK isn't even going to a pointless bowl game this year. That's the funniest thing I've heard all day.
They're bowl eligible. The annoying little brother that you keep around because you have to.
Lmaoooooooo UK is a game TN wins unless the coach is going to get fired. (Looking at DD and Pruitt.) If you can pencil them in as a win before the season it's not a team with a pulse.Kentucky under Mark Stoops is a team with a pulse. Especially when it comes to playing Tennessee at home.
A&M wasn't belly-up yet when they came to town either.
You don't have to write off the whole season.
