To me... good is the top 2 or 3 SEC teams are the only ones we lose to (unless major injury concerns).

This year BECAUSE of the rebuild and inexperience, 8-4 is a good season. That'll mean we only lost 1 game at home (Georgia) and the other 3 losses were to good SEC teams on the road. Florida game stings, because they too were in a rebuild and there's no reason for the lack of effort in the first half that game. You haven't won in the swamp in 20 years, the fans were hostile, the other team was chirpy, if that's not motivation enough then wth are you doing?

I can understand (but don't excuse) the mental apathy for Missouri. A team you absolutely demolished for 2 years... Heupel has to figure out the balance between being confident and being almost delusional that you're an underdog (like Kirby/Saban create).

But the staff and team should understand, you got a big orange T on your helmet and regardless of how good or bad the team is anyone playing you is going to give you their best shot. The fanbase and brand is too large for it to be a game other teams overlook.
I like this post. For me, the Florida game was the "bad" loss. There is no excuse for that 10 minute implosion (4 TD's in 10 minutes....really?). Our offense and the officiating that night was too much for our offense to overcome. Missouri however is better than us this year. The game absolutely changed with the first turnover, Instead of going into halftime up 14-10 and getting the ball, we were down 13-7. Then with a chance to cut it to 22-14 with 11 minutes left, another fumble. That sunk the team and an exhausted defense conceded again. Ballgame. Honesty, that Missouri team deflated me with that first drive. Then it was short passes to the flat, wheel routes, RB runs, and QB runs the rest of the way. I will say this, mad respect for Cody Schrader. That was one reliable and tough SOB.

Please bring that disaster to Texas A&M. As a competitor in the SEC, I love the idea. Texas A&M is going to spend enormous resources. As a school that competes against them it is in our best interest that they continue to waste those vast resources (i.e. Jimbo contract). Please let Deion go there and be the next huge waste of resources for them.

During the Jones and Pruitt dumpster fires I remember thinking I would never take an 8-4 season for granted. I'm still there. I nearly lost my wife this year, and now I'm excited to go watch UGA beat us like a drum because I get to go with her. Perspective.

I think some of you need a healthy dose of reality in your life to learn to appreciate things that really matter.
Amen to that. At the end of the day it's just young men and women playing sports.

Man the love for Deion is so weird...

4-6 and 2nd to last in the Pac-12 one of the worst defenses in all of college football. His lack of a run game makes the Air Raid offenses look like damn Army.

All this after he overhauled and bought his entire roster basically, but yeah "give him a break cause you can't get the talent to Colorado" well, why did he take the job then... oh I know control. You think A&M is going to let Deion have that same level?

Now if it was Arkansas...Jerry Jones might have enough pull to make it happen. I'm not sure if A&M needs the "buzz" that Deion brings since they already have a fanbase that shows up to games regardless.

I know he's the pipe dream for a lot of fans, but does anyone think AM will throw the bag at Urban Meyer? They've shown money is no object, and there's got to be a number out there even he can't refuse.
Say 12 million over 10 years fully guranteed.
I would not want him here, but I bet they will strongly consider it.

aTm would take Heup in skinny second if they could get him. The question is why he would want to go there, no one has ever been able to win there despite the money.

I know it won’t ever happen…but just for a talking piece..I know a guy that would love to take that job and that’s mack brown👀 call me a liar..I dare ya🤣😂😂
