It's like you still don't understand what happened in the second half of the UF and Bama games. No way Bama could win games called against them like that. It's not that we've lost road games this season, but that we didn't show up for a half in two (UF, Bama) and completely failed to show up last Saturday. To not show up against Mizzou and UF is inexcusable, IMO, and falls squarely on the coaches.
I'm still unclear about what Banks does to prepare for road games, because the defense has been generally awful minus the first half at Bama.
I feel like this just leaves me with more questions than answers
Standing on business is a phrase that's been around, but it got popular on tiktok/instagram the past couple of months because of a skit making fun of the phrase. I'm sure the players have been having fun with it and Dork took the opportunity to use it when they beat us.
More or less, it is a mix of "standing on principles" and "handling business"
a ridiculous phrase, which is why it spread ironically, to the point that dorks are trying to use it unironically
Oh dearIf my memory is right. Banks hire was based off of color. Seems like thats what the players wanted and that was the reason it took so long to find a DC? I know this was posted on VN back in during the search. I think Heup tried to get the coach from Ohio St. and another coach who all 3 were black. I may be wrong but it seems like that what was being mentioned. Banks was never going to be a good DC and he never will be at this level
wtf does that even mean? It would be one thing if he was like "how are you enjoying that extra touchdown from last year now, bitch?" or something like that. But, "we stand on business".
I have noticed that. Keep checking randomly to see if the line starts moving up but it hasn’t. I noticed on Saturday close to game time that the morning line adjusted in Missouri’s favor. I found it interesting. They weren’t favored to win, but it dropped from I think -150 us to -132 or so in two or three hours. I’m going to pay attention to that Saturday to see if any unusual movement happens. It might not mean anything but it is curious how ~90% of the wagers and money are on Georgia -10.5 yet the line stopped moving.
This might actually be a competitive game.
we have the worst hitting guru in the world talking trash about us.
This is not the best way to phrase how that went down. LA Vol said that they prioritized minority candidates. It is frankly insulting to Banks to imply that he only got the job because he is black. I do not believe that to be true at all.If my memory is right. Banks hire was based off of color. Seems like thats what the players wanted and that was the reason it took so long to find a DC?
