Don’t like reading this. Have all the faith in the world in Heupel but I hope he’s not losing anyone.

And the fact that he took a cheap shot shows it was a good idea not to run him. The officials were so crooked they were encouraging cheap shots.Psy-op? He was warming up because that's what backups do but he wasn't getting any snaps. Hardly a tinfoil hat thing to say.
Joe ran twice.
-Once to end the half with the score.
-The other was right in the middle of the third quarter where he went down and took a late shot straight to the back.
Compare to how much we ran Hooker through the first two games last year, I think there is a decided mitigation of QB vulnerability.
That's a good point. Maybe the staff learned from the Akron game last year or got a read early that AP was diving at knees or playing with malice. And the fact that he took a cheap shot shows it was a good idea not to run him. The officials were so crooked they were encouraging cheap shots.
Yeah we were pretty dang solid. Just below 45% under HH was good for 20th. We still finished 43rd despite being 3-20 vs Vandy and Clemson.I don’t remember us being particularly good on 3D last year. Just looked it up, we were 41% for the year. 25% with cupcakes so far
I think he will have a big day running and throwing. That's a good point. Maybe the staff learned from the Akron game last year or got a read early that AP was diving at knees or playing with malice.
Joe has to run at least 6 times against our better opponents, like Florida. Our running game depends on the threat of him taking off. Our passing game too.
We'll see what's really going on this weekend.
