Half joking & speculating. Because it sure as hell doesn’t seem to be this elite collective we keep hearing about.

i would guess that everyone that is going after these big time recruits has money to offer within the same ballpark as each other…. Then it comes down to the best at old fashioned recruiting….. Our collective is solid as shown by how few players that transfer out of this program. We have kept who we want so far.

Yea but he does have a point, there are rumors swirling that Spyre is hogging some of the money, Brice liked a post talking about it, and it would make sense because everyone nationally claims how great our collective is but yet we miss on a lot of prospects

It's become pretty clear that our "insiders" don't know ****. They have been completely out of touch all year it seems like.

We should be recruiting at a better level right now, given the fact that it is year three, coming off a 11 win season, and the ncaa bs is behind us. Ik the Seaton situation was a wacky one for everyone involved, but we have still missed on so many prospects this year, which is a red flag. I also don’t like how we told Jolly to kick rocks yesterday because we thought we had the ND TE in the bag, then he goes and schedules two visits after ours

He is one of the captains of the Vol Club. They have captains positioned in different regions to host get togethers and such to draw attention to what the Vol Club is. They are trying to find innovative ways to continue spreading the word and increasing the membership. Hopefully he or Will chime in about the rumor.

Seems like a very well executed scam. Not just Spyre, but NIL in general.

Don't get me wrong. I'm in agreement recruiting needs to improve. From the coaches, from Spyre, from wherever, we HAVE to get better at recruiting. But I'm not ready to proclaim anyone is misallocating funds without some real proof or source stating such.

I do wonder who, if anyone, audits these various college collectives to make sure money is going where it's supposed to go, but that's not directed solely at Spyre. That's just my curiosity about oversight where money is concerned. I wonder the same thing about charities and such.

Actually winning a recruiting battle with a huge bag would probably help.
