Maybe hadden should stop running his mouth. Have we considered he graded out better because teams had so much success throwing at the other guys ? He was abused for the first part of his career. Martinez is trash I stand by it. Needs to go and we need secondary help asap.

Seems like a very well executed scam. Not just Spyre, but NIL in general.

I know the guys involved in Texas A&Ms NIL and they are shady. That’s why I have posted about Spyre and asked who monitors the admin of the collectives? How can a donor be sure their money is going to the kids?

I’ll put it this way. I used to be a major sponsor of the march of dimes. That was until I saw how much of the money donated there goes directly to administration and expenses of their large lavish parties, and events.

Don't get me wrong. I'm in agreement recruiting needs to improve. From the coaches, from Spyre, from wherever, we HAVE to get better at recruiting. But I'm not ready to proclaim anyone is misallocating funds without some real proof or source stating such.

I do wonder who, if anyone, audits these various college collectives to make sure money is going where it's supposed to go, but that's not directed solely at Spyre. That's just my curiosity about oversight where money is concerned. I wonder the same thing about charities and such.

We should be recruiting at a better level right now, given the fact that it is year three, coming off a 11 win season, and the ncaa bs is behind us. Ik the Seaton situation was a wacky one for everyone involved, but we have still missed on so many prospects this year, which is a red flag. I also don’t like how we told Jolly to kick rocks yesterday because we thought we had the ND TE in the bag, then he goes and schedules two visits after ours

There are questionable decisions, yes.

And as you know ive been vocal about the recruiting successes, or lack thereof.

I think right now, as Tweezer eloquently stated, we have the chance to be a championship calibre team. We didnt have the success in HS ranks like we wanted, esp on defense.

What is the plan? You cant 'roll with what we hve.' Defense is slow. WR is a liability. Tackle is a liability.

Attack the portal? I dont see it happening and that is frustrating as hell.

Or maybe he can say whatever he wants to say because he has an opinion like everyone else. And I agree with him. We do need to shut the hell up publicly, our fan base, and many fan bases for that matter show very low emotional intelligence.

Yea but he does have a point, there are rumors swirling that Spyre is hogging some of the money, Brice liked a post talking about it, and it would make sense because everyone nationally claims how great our collective is but yet we miss on a lot of prospects View attachment 600804

I’m not ready to declare they are committing fraud, but I thought we would be landing some higher rated recruits/transfers by now. It’s still early this portal cycle but I’d like to see us do better than last year. I think we ranked in the 40s for overall transfers.

That’s just not how grading works. Hadden was the most heavily targeted player in the secondary but he shut everything down. Less than 4 YPA on his targets. He was performing like an elite SEC DB when he went down, and our defense never looked the same after.

Thats what his natural position is and would be really good at it. Playing out of position because they cannot develop CBs well and he has the athleticism and agressiveness to compete. But I am sure the Willie defenders will rush to counter my statement.
