I know the guys involved in Texas A&Ms NIL and they are shady. That’s why I have posted about Spyre and asked who monitors the admin of the collectives? How can a donor be sure their money is going to the kids?

I’ll put it this way. I used to be a major sponsor of the march of dimes. That was until I saw how much of the money donated there goes directly to administration and expenses of their large lavish parties, and events.
I don't want to change the subject, but before giving money to any charity/organization, people need to ask "how much goes to the charity and how much is used for overhead". They'll be shocked at how much is kept within the organization. I ask and I've heard many times $.50 per dollar (or more) stays with the company. No way am I saying that is the case here, but for life in general, ask before giving.

I recommend we stop eating our own for a change on here. There are a lot of changes in the CFB landscape coming that will apply to NIL/player compensation, the portal, the players, coaching staffs, schools, conferences, television rights/viewing, etc. Quit throwing Spyre under the bus.

While it is underway offer reasonable NIL, but have coaching staffs that players trust to get them to the NFL. We still have the same problems with the same assistants we have had since Day One of the Heup era that so many on here refuse to acknowledge. It is a team game. What happened in 2022 was an aberration. The defense has to get better to compete at an elite level. There is no way around it. No offense can average 45-50 PPG every season. Opponents adjust to the schemes and methods. Injuries happen.

We do not need HS players making bag on the O-line at the exclusion of more important D and skill positions. Seaton proved he is a flake and only out for himself. He went to the right place for that. Miami got the best OT in the nation last year and we see what that did for them. He looked reasonably good and they still stunk. O-lines are units that must perform well in unison ogether, just like secondaries. If your staff is not getting that done, like ours on defense in particular, that has to change to get better. Otherwise, just enjoy 7-9 win seasons and move on.

If more than 10% goes to overhead, they've set themselves up for fraud.

Is that Eric poster part of Spyre?

Makes sense considering he was in here everyday for like 3+ months begging people to sign up. Come across similar people before, they usually turn out to be scammers
I personally know of Eric. He’s a fan and just helping Spyre. This talk about Spyre is silly.

This is correct. People don’t understand how corrupt the charities they are giving to.

i agree…. it’s ridiculous
What? You mean lobbing baseless accusations at a fellow VNer based on a flimsy connection between that poster and a John Brice-liked tweet is ridiculous to you?

Well, I suppose we’re just cut from a different cloth, sir.
