Speaking of snake, if Boo is calling Seaton his boy and gonna flip, then he is deliberately running one of the biggest games on UT, but making it too obvious. He doesn't seem that dumb, but who knows... If he's calling Seaton slime, then he knows everyone is seeing it, so surely he's getting questioned left and right. If he trolls us this bad down to the very end and flips, then he better be ready to move outa Chattanooga because he will not be welcome...
Losing Echols to USF is just weak on our staff's part. No excuse unless they turn around and bring in 1-2 stud TE's. Either way not a good look for the program.
Heup and staff, with the guys leaving to the portal, the inability to close in recruiting, dragging our feet in the portal, and our NIL seems to be suspect as hell right now, they are quickly looking like the second stage of Butch Jones and staff... Yep.
And then here will come all those running to Heup's defense "But, But, But..." but what? We lost games we shouldn't have this season, the staff got out-coached by lesser and even opponents regularly by not making in-game adjustments and sticking with older guys when there is younger talent, he stuck with a QB who looked like Tarzan and played like Jane, we are slipping and not closing on the recruiting trail, other programs are stocking up already on portal talent while we are playing grab ass and having play dates/visits... Not looking good today. Very frustrating looking in from the outside.
Will be interesting to see what happens when the dust settles. Very underwhelming year so far for Heup after the first two seasons here. The shine is wearing off it seems, especially to recruits.
