Tony Gwynn wasn't to shabby on swing, I agree about Griffey...

Without injuries, Barry Bonds as HR king wouldn't be discussed....he would have smoked Bonds record....
griffey was all hips. gwynn was calculated.

henry aaron also was nice.

for my money, id take mickey mantle all day long, and then some. to be able to be that violent from both sides. not sure how his SO compare to others, or hits. Dont care. im talking about his swing. Where the bat met the ball, mechanics, ease of swing.

another one was chipper. the power he generated with his swing will never be appreciated. again another upper cut guy, used a lot of hips. chipper was big enough to handle rigors of the 162 game schedule though. i will add he also could shorten up and hit up the middle. takes a lot of hand eye to be able to do that. really a generational talent.

What a wonderful man......played a lot of golf with him. So sad.

It may be someone else I'm thinking of, and I could be mistaken...but, did Wycheck have some problems with CTE? I think I heard that years ago...not sure it was him or not.

RIP, FW. From a Colts fan back in them days, nothing but mad respect for him.

Yes.......severe CTE.

I heard that he fell and hit his head....... Have not seen this posted, but a mutual friend told me that.....

NDSU is a multi-time FCS champion...

That school excels in playoffs....
Yeah and?

They were 8-3 in the regular season. They wouldn't have sniffed the Top 4 in the FBS system. This is why I'm saying the FCS system is better and why you let teams play it out instead of having a "committee" decide who the best 4 are.

The transfer portal and NIL is going to really put Vanderbilt out of their misery. They are going to lose any half way decent player every year.

Feel like they should be fine with the right staff. Especially if league revenue sharing for players hits.

Switch to the triple option and specialize in grad transfers.

Not saying it's easy or likely, and Lea is sure the **** not the guy. I just think they have a path to relevance.

Vanderbilt needs to get their stuff together and realize their only chance is to run a service academy offense and give everyone else fits. I hope they continue to not, but that's their best chance at being a thorn and pest.

And sadly, they finished 2-10 with those said players. It doesn’t get any easier.

They always struggled to be competitive in the SEC before NIL. Now, the chances are nearly zero they’ll ever get to 6 wins and bowl eligibility going forward.

60degrees and Sunshine yesterday....

Today's forecast Rain, turning to freezing rain with a chance of snow...😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Those dudes committed to Mizzou, Ole Miss, and Colorado. Don’t you find it odd they didn’t commit to big time programs considering they’re such high profile players?
What BOT and other insufferable losers on this site don’t understand is that most of these guys would be team cancers. They are mercenaries, plain and simple. After seeing Seaton’s commitment I want no part of that dimwit.
