Here’s the SI article.

This hits hard. His time on the Wake Up Zone further endeared him to so many sports fans. Just a fantastic regular guy who loved sports and could talk about football in a way that everyone understood. He stepped away from broadcasting because of CTE, and it saddens me to hear his cause of death being brain trauma.

It all goes back to player safety. Play the game, but protect the players as much as possible. If Wycheck’s brain could’ve been better protected, he would still be alive.

What BOT and other insufferable losers on this site don’t understand is that most of these guys would be team cancers. They are mercenaries, plain and simple. After seeing Seaton’s commitment I want no part of that dimwit.

BOT must be Poly Joe or Cattleman. Some of you get this reference

It says he fell at home and hit his head. CTE stinks but is it the reason this happened? Did he black out or something? Just asking because it sounds like an unfortunate accident.

There are a few over on the LV forum standing up for her saying that it’s about more than basketball that that she’s developing the next generation, but most of the blind CKH supporters have been AWOL.
I support our head coaches (all sports) until I can’t but even when the writing is on the wall, I don’t actively put down the coach. I figure if I know it’s time, then our AD knows as well.

In this particular instance, I loved Kelly as a player and appreciate everything Kelly has done for this program as a player and her efforts as a coach. I know how much she loves the Lady Vols and I don’t need to say anything else.

BCS would pit Michigan against Washington.

FSU would still be out, but they would not have been totally screwed.

No bama, texas, or uga. I’m fine with that. 😈

BCS I saw (first 4 teams) left Texas out and put FSU in, BAMA in, and Washington in. Texas is playing great right now but their schedule hinges on one win with a bad loss.

I don't know a lot of healthy, athletic 52 yr old men who slip and fall hard enough to die. It had to have played some role imo.

Amazing what a change of scenery will give you. To be fair, he was pretty damn bad at ASU.

Peterman is a great example of that. The Swamp performance ruined him here (wasn't his fault either). I've never seen a player that needed a transfer so badly. I was happy for him when he succeeded elsewhere.
