Didn’t Rob Bironas die is car wreck?

Yes... the scenario and what had been going on in his life prior indicated his advanced CTE played a role in the wreck. IIRC, Bironas's wife noted he'd been having fits of rage and violence for a couple months prior, terrible headaches, and increased alcohol consumption. The night of the wreck he was having a road rage incident and was pursuing some teenagers, trying to run them off the road and screaming at them. He lost control and went off the road. Testing afterward confirmed he had CTE.

@volbeast33 I could be totally wrong on saying CTE is the cause of Bironas's death. He was drunk at the time. The obvious cause of death was DWI and wrecking during road rage. He did have some (not severe) CTE, I had that wrong.

It says he fell at home and hit his head. CTE stinks but is it the reason this happened? Did he black out or something? Just asking because it sounds like an unfortunate accident.

Based on what he said back when he was leaving the Zone, he had spells of where he would lose his balance. This was just one effect of CTE he said he dealt with. We can’t be 100% sure, but I believe it was related.
