Facts. Hell, I’m sure there are posts here from me back on draft day 2 annoyed as hell we picked Levis. I hated it.

But he’s gotten his chance and it seems like he’s the qb of the future. So give me all of that. I don’t care about where players played in college once they get to NFL and on the titans. That’s silliness
Yeah I wasn’t happy when they drafted Levis and made that very clear..Didn’t like him while at UK and thought he was a punk..but I’ve actually gotten over it and been able to see things like his toughness and grit..And I wasn’t gonna not cheer for the Titans just because they drafted him..That is just dumb..Had I done that, I really wasn’t a Titans fan to begin with.🤷‍♀️

We have 4 incoming DBs. Goree will play on defense unless something has changed.

- Hadden might miraculously return with another year of eligibility somehow.
- 6 in the portal.
- McCollough and Walker are graduating.

Again, we are after and have organized visits for multiple DBs in the portal. Calm down.

You'd be the same person lamenting if those 6 were starters next year.

Of course I kid, very thankful for what those upper classmen accomplished, etc. Best of luck Tank.

I think they are only saying if we win 9 the glass is 2/3 full. Should we dump the glass out if we miss a third one year?
No. But eventually 8-9 win seasons year in and out means we are missing on big players or keeping coaches on staff too long to get over the hurdle. Right now it seems we are content with 8-9 win seasons and I don’t think that should be our goal ever. Heupel inherited a mess and his first three years exceeded expectations. But we should be seeing more going forward. And I hope we do if we actually want to win championships.

This would be a good question when we appear uncompetitive routinely. I have not seen that.

They’ve been “going big” every hire for the last decade and they’ve all failed.
Mullen was 34-15 when fired and had won the East and double digit wins his first years. Fired for one bad season. They will fire Napier and hire someone big next year.

Ahhh so we should have expectations of the bottom twelve and the top four will always dominate us.

We need to start acting like the top program that we are and stop lowering expectations. Auburn, UF, and LSU will fire their coaches if they only win 8 games a year by year four and five. Napier is likely gone mid season next year. They were already back channeling this season.
Money is pouring in like water over Niagara falls. Demand for season tickets has never been higher. Huge money from the SEC. As long as that's the case nothing will change. I'm just not convinced they have that "win at all cost" mentality. That's not a slap a Heuple. I think he's awesome. I'm just not sure he has the same level of support as the big boys. The problem I see is he'll continue to have us in that 8-9 win and people will fade away when we continue to lose to our rivals, AL and GA and they continue to win championships. Recruits will see it as TN is that good but not great team and recruiting will reflect that. Will fans continue to support that? I think TN is developing that reputation that you can't win there. (Championship level).

You have Texas and Oklahoma now entering and they've proven to be win at all cost. I just don't see a path where the Vols will enter that group.

Paint it however you want. He's the backup QB on a 5-8 team. He could have 4000 yards and they would still not have a winning record. Respect is earned Mayo.

All I see is a guy out there playing with all emotion, fragile. Gonna get frustrated and lose some winnable games. People will learn quick, and be done with it.

Folks born in Tennessee before the Oilers came to Memphis understand. Since Peyton retired, my fantasy team is the only thing that interests me about the NFL.
Lol that should be most of the board...that was born before Titans came to Memphis...

Not even a Titans fan.....

Born and raised in Tennessee since 1970...

I agree, which is why I think you hit the nail on the head when you said to expect 8-9 every season from now on.

Shoot Texas is in the playoff and beat Bama with Sark as a coach lol. But they gave him a ton of money and he hired an awesome staff.

We’re over here happy with Willie coaching our DBs.
