Yeah I wasn’t happy when they drafted Levis and made that very clear..Didn’t like him while at UK and thought he was a punk..but I’ve actually gotten over it and been able to see things like his toughness and grit..And I wasn’t gonna not cheer for the Titans just because they drafted him..That is just dumb..Had I done that, I really wasn’t a Titans fan to begin with.🤷‍♀️
I make fun of Levis' personality and the weird stuff he does, I dont dislike him as a person because of it, I just think he's a weirdo.

I dont like him as a QB because he's prone to catastrophic errors. About once per drive he doesn't know where the running back is for a handoff. Every other drive he comes close to a game changing error. Nearly once per game he makes a catastrophic error. He is a bonehead and makes stupid plays in the red zone almost every trip.

He makes all-star plays, then 2 plays later makes you want to slap your own grandma.

If he could replace the idiotic plays with just average plays and keep the same level of all-star plays he'd be great. I dont think he can. He's done it at every place and under every coach he's played for. Kinda like Milton has kept the same tendencies everywhere he's played.

Its pretty obvious what he is as a QB and that he's not gonna change a huge amount. If you're ok with that and think the corches and players around him can cover up his deficiencies, then he should be good enough for your team, imo.

I dont like the Titans choice, because I feel like there were other, better options that were more valuable to the team that they could have made with that pick.

He tried too hard. The bravado is to cover a mama's boy. Hard ass exterior, candy ass interior.

All intangibles, but cant get past his own mental incapacities.

Heupel’s goal is to win championships, I think we all know and understand that. Heupel is also wanting to bring back the same staff next year that we have this year. If he doesnt make moves on the staff that need moving, then those position groups better player better like the Secondary and lb’s. Anything less than 9 wins next year will be a major red flag and honestly really disappointing. It will be year 4 for Heupel and he hasn’t made coaching staff changes, and we have the transfer portal and what is supposedly a good NIL agency. He has all the tools and freedom to take us to the next step, so he needs to win next year

Money is pouring in like water over Niagara falls. Demand for season tickets has never been higher. Huge money from the SEC. As long as that's the case nothing will change. I'm just not convinced they have that "win at all cost" mentality. That's not a slap a Heuple. I think he's awesome. I'm just not sure he has the same level of support as the big boys. The problem I see is he'll continue to have us in that 8-9 win and people will fade away when we continue to lose to our rivals, AL and GA and they continue to win championships. Recruits will see it as TN is that good but not great team and recruiting will reflect that. Will fans continue to support that? I think TN is developing that reputation that you can't win there. (Championship level).

You have Texas and Oklahoma now entering and they've proven to be win at all cost. I just don't see a path where the Vols will enter that group.
Hate that we EVIDENTLY have fickle sports consumers getting tickets instead of quality loyal fans. Good news is that the fan quality levels go up as they make tickets available when they bail.

Part of the process, but still don’t like those with more money than resolve driving up prices and taking up space. Some want to classify them as fair weather fans, i think that is just a coverup of reality. If you are not a VFL, you are not really a V at all.

Ahhh so we should have expectations of the bottom twelve and the top four will always dominate us.

We need to start acting like the top program that we are and stop lowering expectations. Auburn, UF, and LSU will fire their coaches if they only win 8 games a year by year four and five. Napier is likely gone mid season next year. They were already back channeling this season.
That's a bit of a ridiculous statement. "We are" what our record says we have been. Thus, we've been a neglected and abused program that's been run down for a couple of decades. Things will not get better until we admit that, take legitimate stock of what we've become, and create a legitimate, attainable, and sustainable plan for becoming what we intend to be.

Your "act like what we are" is akin to a former Olympic lifter who's spent the past decade sitting on his ass, eating bonbons, "acting like what 'he is'" and trying to dead lift his decades-old record lifts. It'd be at best disappointing, and very probably would create such harm so as to prevent ever becoming what he once was. The better (sane) thing to do would be to look in the mirror, change diet and lifestyle, according to an informed plan, with realistic measurements over time.

Just a few years ago, UT was in the worst of the worst shape it's been in in at least our lifetime. Decades of bad decisions, capped by another feckless coach, investigated for pay-for-play by his own University so they could oust him, with 1/3 of the roster jumping ship, under heavy NCAA investigation that cast a shadow for two years, with expected massive punishment for pay-for-play.

Now we have grumbling geniuses that ignore the progress and cry that we're not dominant yet like the good old days.

Less than 9 wins a red flag? Nonsense. A lot of things could happen that would explain 8 wins. Even if everything goes smoothly, the schedule is tougher in 24 and many teams would finish worse than 8-4. 9-4 or 10-3 would still have him on schedule with expectations from when he was hired.

It’s idiotic to say we are what our record is. Our record is indicative of our bad hires. Not what our program is or should be. I guess Texas was a bad program and should have stayed that way for a bad run a few years ago. No, they said we are better than this and spent the money to be good again.

You act as though this is proof that that mindset brings success. lol
If you haven’t noticed, they have won much more than us in football even in down years and they don’t accept mediocrity. Napier will be gone next season and they will go big.
