They’re 7th in the country in portal rankings. That’s 3rd in the SEC.


South Carolina is 2nd in the country, 1st in the SEC. Kentucky is 4th, 2nd in the SEC.

You mean the most desperate teams acted aggressively and early in the portal? Clearly our staff isn't desperate and being more selective.

Think they were focused on keeping the guys they wanted to keep and now that they've done that, they're sifting through options to fill gaps.

Coaches have managed to get almost everybody back they wanted so it looks like they'll focus on a plug and play WR, TE, safety, corner and edge rusher, plus depth along the lines. Think there's lingering concern about Karic at LG, and with Nichols gone, that's something to address. It looked like they would take two TEs, and they still might, but probably not two higher profile guys.

I thought Karic was a bad pick up last year. We need to up grade LG. It was weak link last year

Just like Hadden, who was by far our best cover corner, was booed then cheered, it will be the same with Martinez. He is the biggest reason Boo Carter is coming here (is here).

They did work on the OL and DL. Should be ready to roll once we get a LG transfer.

You win in this league with OL, DL, and great QB play. We should have all of that next year.

I know two schools that looked at him and chose not to offer before he committed to us. Nothing against him personally, but we need much better

I like doing this little challenge as well, although I lose after day 3 most of the time. If you don’t want the +100 odd, a lot of people do this but do it with -200 odds.

Not a bad way to play with $10.

Transferring after 4 years to another sec teams is a major loser mindset.

And everyone on here would be booming like it’s the 4th of July if players with “a major loser mindset “ were transferring from some other SEC team to UT.
