When he took the field in the Virginia game I was surprised at how small he looked.
Just a lil belly fat on him

What's funny about that is, on Dave Hookers youtube channel he had some kid on there say he would be our biggest o-linemen 😂 and how we don't normally get linemen that big...

I lit them up in the comments because it's insane to me how they don't know how to read a roster.

He gets full control…wherever he’s at. Chargers have a (proven) franchise QB in place…which was all he previously needed. Without one he’s mediocre. That could be said of everyone tho.
Parcells won with Phil Simms and Jeff Hostetler....which one of those 2 was a Franchise QB?...

IMO:

Dingle starting TE
Sharp depth TE
Brazzel - Outside WR
Wallace - DE
McCoy - CB

Big Fish potential will be OL imo:
Tate (UGA) or Remington (A&M)
They're still shopping for these positions because offers extended have not been accepted and it looks like it could be going down to the wire. Guys like Staes are very much playing the field. Think they could end up with another TE.

So as Aaron Rodgers says ,"everyone just relax" It will be fine....

Any decisions are better than no decisions.

No one is talking. All fans see is us losing recruiting battles, and TD, TB, and OK safety going to Ole Miss. Optics arent good.
You're not going to get much talking from this staff. They just go about their business and let the announcements come when they come. Not all of these recruiting battles are being lost-- UT is not going after some of these players and they're backing off others (like Joly). They have their reasons-- they're just not sharing them. I don't expect that to change.

So might close with Staes or close with neither of those guys?
Staes is wrapping up his nationwide "Show Me" tour. Dingle is dangling. Several others are staying put elsewhere. Slowed it down with Joly, who didn't appreciate it. And they're bringing in a few more guys to to do a fit check. So it's far from over.

Well, frankly they owe us nothing, as fans.

We just know how close we're getting to competing for titles. Just want us to turn the corner. But we arent there yet.

Anyhow, thanks for the insight.

solid posts, thanks for the insight. same reason they're letting some guys walk too

Different time. Jimmy could have won at least one with Buerlein. Joe Gibbs won with three different game management types. But point at the franchise that plays ball control and pounds with a beast offensive line and workhorse running back AND even makes the Super Bowl. Belichick would have loved going that route. Has a losing record without a franchise QB.

Edit: And Phil Simms met that standard...and then some. Not a HOF, but neither is Donovan McNabb or multiple other examples.
