we need to get the Ugandans on board
Uganda discovers gold deposits worth 12 trillion USD
In a bid to boost the country’s economy, the Ugandan government has licensed Wagagai gold mining company, a Chinese firm to start producing gold products in Busia districtwww.tbsnews.net
They do those traveling meetings each year and I would think if a fan attended they could get better insight than just reading tea leaves. Certainly reporters are not asking with the intent of printing this staffs recruitment/portal strategies. What are those meetings called again? Big orange caravan? Quarterback club? You're not going to get much talking from this staff. They just go about their business and let the announcements come when they come. Not all of these recruiting battles are being lost-- UT is not going after some of these players and they're backing off others (like Joly). They have their reasons-- they're just not sharing them. I don't expect that to change.
Did you have one of those change making dispensers that you wore on your waist? My first job was working at my dad’s service station - I waited on the pumps which included greeting the customer, pumping gas, washing windshields, and checking oil. I added oil if needed and checked the air in the tires as well. I took their money (almost always cash), rang it up on the cash register (manual) and made change if necssary. On the weekends, my job was also to wash the box trucks that were affiliated with Tennessee Eastman.
Perfectly possible that our style of offense leads to more penalties than other teams. From

Worse on passing and overall offense, but better on rushing.
Actually better on defense in some areas.
BUT, whoa boy, either the refs hate us, or Heupel has to do something about cleaning up this mess from the past two years:
Penalties per game: 8.2 (14th SEC/131st FBS)
> 2022: 8.1 (14th SEC/129th FBS)
Penalty yards per game: 71.1 (14th SEC/129th FBS)
> 2022: 68.8 (14th SEC/124th FBS)
AND either the refs hate us, or all of the players on all of our opponents' programs have extremely disciplined players.
"NOTE: Tennessee opponents were penalized the fourth-fewest times (5.6 per game) for the second-fewest penalty yards (40.2 per game) in the SEC."
