Someone remind me how Vol Club operates vs Spyre.

Obviously some horizontal cannibalism happening there and wouldn't mind giving to both, but trying to understand how they each operate within the landscape.
They are the same entity. VOL Club is just the connection point for the fanbase to donate to Spyre. Basically the "face" of Sprye for the fans. Sprye then works with the athletes on their NIL deals. I am sure the big money folks deal with Sprye more directly. For us $25 a month folk, it is the Vol Club.

Their average class ranking isn’t far behind ours. I’m sorry, you can’t finish 10th in the SEC behind the likes of South Carolina in recruiting.
So I figured I’d play your game because the tweet you posted is irrelevant to the current standing of USCe.

You do know they are at 18th…right? With 16 commits?

Why does that show 23 commits when they currently have 16? It takes transfers into consideration but you knew that. We have one to their 7.

Have a feeling Heupel will have some nasty plays drawn up for Staes + Davis in 2-TE sets. Both are receiving TEs.

We have so many weapons 😳
Staes is much more of a blocking TE that is a capable receiver. My ND buddy said we will like him but he does not have much speed/quickness as a receiver. He is a very physical blocker and has good hands catching the football.

Do we see any of the portal guys practicing and playing in the bowl game?

From my understanding they are eligible immediately as long as they are academically eligible.
I don't know how you could possibly rely on somebody transferring in now to learn the offense well enough to contribute in the bowl game. I would usually say the same for the defense. However, since we're playing Iowa, it won't really matter if we have blown coverages or missed assignments because Iowa has no offense.

That’s purely HS. This 247 ranking includes transfers

Athletically Davis and Staes are massive upgrades to Warren and Fant. Will they be as productive? We will see but my guess is yes if they’re healthy. Totally different type athletes from those other guys.

Watch Staes in that NC State game. They know about him in Raleigh already that’s for sure.

Not sure they are massive upgrade athletically over Fant. I think Fant was really underrated.

Davis and Staes are certainly quicker and a much bigger pass threat for Heupel to scheme with. However, it is really hard to replicate the toughness and physicality of Fant.

So, you're handpicking worry over the fact the rankings don't include the returning 4 and 5 year veterans on the OL and DL for UT?

Seems like you can't help yourself in looking for any angle to show how bad we are...weird.

Makes you wonder. Bama has as many if not more 4 & 5 star players, but they aren’t leaving.

Mark Riecht has lost total control at UGA.

Wow, and I thought Florida had a problem…

With Staes, we will have the 42 4/5 star guys to hit the 50% blue chip ratio.

Maybe the gap is moving faster than we think even with the misses. 🤔

*Vols get #1 TE in the portal while also having a dozen or so recruits from HS and portal on campus this week/weekend and will most likely finish Top 10 in recruiting*

Christian Lowe: "I think I'll contort recruiting rankings in a way that makes it look like we are  losing the offseason to South Carolina despite the fact USC lost half their team to the portal and our class is actually better anyway."
