Welcome to the dark sideGilbert may be my new Peyton Manning. Whenever Manning graduated, i really didnt have a favorite NFL team; so, i said whatever team drafts him, that's my team.
I haven't watched baseball in years...the Braves broke my heart too many times back in the day. May have to make the Mets my new team.
With that said, wish they'd trade him...the thought of cheering on a NY team sickens me.
The difference between this season and last season was because of personnel. 2022 defense was not good but was masked by incredible offense. The defense was actually better this year but the lighting strike o was gone. I think we have dramatically improved both sides for next year and the foreseeable future. There was a thread about change in DB philosophy? I didn’t pay much attention to it…thought it was poster speculation. Might have been prescient. Heupel not making coaching changes but insisting on CHANGES.
Gators and Gamecocks would fight against Miami and Clemson. However, DUKE, UNC, UVA and VaTech are possibilities.I'd say they'll look at Miami, Clemson and possibly Duke.
Duke would be strictly for basketball but they do bring in money.
Clemson would be a big brand with recent success.
Miami is really the only ACC team with a market the SEC isn't tapping into.
If you read the whole tweet, the guy addresses the SEC's apprehension of adding teams like FSU, Miami, and Clemson because of the impact it would have on UF and SoCar. Also, the SEC already has the Miami area in their market umbrella. The markets they haven't reached are the states of North Carolina and Virginia.I'd say they'll look at Miami, Clemson and possibly Duke.

I said it before, but he's a physical guy, great blocker and possession type, but we need big play dudes. I'd trade McCoy straight up for Stewart. That's the kind of guy we need in this offense. Matthews and Staley might be one of those and are great athletes, are they more like Bru or are they the type of players who can really stretch/stress a defense like Hyatt? Solid recruiting class, but I don't see the game changers this offense needs.I love me some Bru.. but I kind of wouldn’t mind him declaring for the draft.
We need some solid representation in the draft. It would be a selling point to recruits to say we’ve had receivers drafted each year they’ve been here - and Bru is the only one with draft potential this year.
And I think we’re fairly loaded at receiver now so we would be fine.
That’s said - he’s a hell of a player and I’d welcome him back excitedly.
If the SEC does expand it will be here. FSU, Miami, and Clemson really add nothing. Even Missouri added Midwest. Now that we have OU we can get rid of Missouri. If you read the whole tweet, the guy addresses the SEC's apprehension of adding teams like FSU, Miami, and Clemson because of the impact it would have on UF and SoCar. UNC or NCSU would be most likely to get the call. UVA and VT will have to either both go together or both agree to separate due to a state law. One can't act independently.
