I'd say they'll look at Miami, Clemson and possibly Duke.
Duke would be strictly for basketball but they do bring in money.
Clemson would be a big brand with recent success.
Miami is really the only ACC team with a market the SEC isn't tapping into.
North Carolina & Virginia are the ACC markets the SEC would likely be interested in.

And no way they would choose Duke over UNC…

Aggies and Longhorns will dominate the SEC recruiting scene for many years to come - no doubt about it. Florida will as well, once they get a coach with a pulse.

Buckle up. This isn’t the old SEC anymore.
Dominate is a very strong word. No way they dominate. They will definitely have a big impact, but there's too many good teams and coaches for anyone to dominate.

Some of y’all are ridiculous lol Nico wasn’t ready and Milton played about as well as he could so outside of a one year rental that didn’t exist what would you have had them do? Outside of Tennessee, name another program in the nation that plays Alabama, Georgia, and Florida every year. There isn’t one and you can say that it doesn’t matter because the SEC is hard but it does and whether or not you are willing to admit it, Tennessee has the toughest road to Atlanta. We have zero room for error and less instate talent than Alabama, Georgia, and Florida on average. We aren’t going to hire a coach that can win the majority of those games and out recruit them but we can hire a coach that will occasionally beat them/maintain a strong roster. Heupel is doing that
I wasn’t complaining merely just stating my belief whether popular or unpopular. I like Heupel and even said as much in my OP. A good number on here will be ecstatic if we get Richt 2.0 out of Heupel. Just a matter of one’s expectations. Merry Christmas and Go Vols!

or Caleb Herring
not sure you can replace 4 years of starting and playing time at that position. placing those expectations on young player are too much.

that said. i love that staff let him go. sends signal that this is a team. no one person is above it. your self value is too high. be a part of it or dont. our ceiling will be higher.0

We've yet to show we're willing to put freshmen out there right away. Not sure that changes with Ross. And there's a difference between playing LEO and playing on the strong side. Maybe we do have the necessary bodies already, but the fact we were talking to Diggs suggests the coaches have some doubts. They wanted to get him in for a visit, but Syracuse just had too much going for them.
I think you will see Ross, along with Herring and Weathersby. CRG likes to rotate a lot of players.

Very possible because there are no more Edge players in the portal that they see as adding to this team, like they did with Diggs. But if one should enter, my guess is they would pursue. They didn't go after Diggs for the heck of it.

We will have four that can play the edge, which is plenty barring injury that is.
