Wait a minute. I was agreeing with your rational thought. But if you have a better theory on why men become totally irrational and incapable of debating when it comes to sports, I would love to hear it. I just don’t get it. Unless it truly is making them feel powerful in a powerless situation to make demands and expect it to automatically happen.
I edited for blue font. It was a joke. I was doing what I had accused you of doing. ;)

I agree. A lot of guys throw reason out the window when it comes to things we care about. FANatic...

You are better off trying to figure out why women say they are fine, when they are anything but. Lol

Just sports? 🤣

Took me until my 30s to realize how much a lie it is that women are more emotional than men. Very ingrained through culture. Showing extreme empathy, care, or crying is "being emotional" but whipping someone's arse for looking at you the wrong way on the street is just "handling your business".

Different types of emotions...but men sure are emotional as hell. And the "adults" that want to fight others at the flip of a switch are downright fragile.
Been my experience that women are way more emotional than men generally speaking. Of course there is always exceptions. Guess I am just shocked at how men on here think and have unrealistic expectations. Maybe it’s not thinking with emotions…..except during the game!

It's definitely emoting in place of thinking. Combine it with a heavy dose of manly machismo and Lord have mercy. Just read the "Climb the recruiting ladder" thread lol. That place reeked.

I think we are just adding Brazzell, who is a great fit. When you add Matthews, we will be 6 deep, depending on what Bru does. Very talented group.
ap made it a point to say anyone can transfer now. even mentioned bru and onl. we cant lose onl

Again... The context is Heupel vs Golesh. I'm saying that it is dumb to claim that Golesh is the difference in the offense.

Period. End stop. That's my argument.

AGAIN

The argument I am responding to says:

1--QB play was much worse.
2--WR play was much worse.

Thus:

3--Current staff is worse at calling plays than Golesh, even though:

a--The one making the argument admits to not knowing whether Golesh called plays.
b--The one making the argument has listed other reasons that play-calling would have to change, and that offensive results would be lesser this year.

That's it. That's all. I'm calling a specific argument unsupported.

Here is the process they have always used when calling plays.

Facts that we know about Golesh/Heupel

1.Golesh only coached 1 yr at UCF
2. He had never been an OC before or even associated with the veer and shoot
3. Heup claimed that he called all the plays at UCF.
4. Golesh was hired by Heup bc of his recruiting prowess

i doubt Heup would trust a guy to call the plays that was as new to it as Golesh was…. He may have had innovative ideas that Heup utilized.

Practice story about Jauan Jennings and how he wants it that much more than the guy next to him. Liked Stripling but was too mellow. Butch didn't develop LEADERS so they had to assume it on their own and sometimes stepped over others trying to do the same. Then I had to step away and when I came back he was talking about some developmental coaches he's working with currently.

Thanks! I love living vicariously!
