What was that guy supposed to do let the bama guy get up and tackle the running back? Once gone kee em down, no targeting
Tackles do that all the time
He hit him in the head. That's why it was a penalty. He wasn't defenseless so it wasn't targeting, but he wasn't a runner so it was a PF

Our offense didn't feel clunky at all today, like it has all year. Play calls seemed better, too, but it probably seemed that way because of good execution. Seeing Nico go through his progressions so smoothly and consistently get to the 3rd or 4th read really made a big difference for the offense. It just felt like a smoother performance. . . reminded me how the offense hummed with Hooker.

I also think having that type of performance takes a lot of pressure off defense and really stresses the others team's offense, defense, and gameplan. It's true, having a really good or great QB can hide a lot of deficiencies and really turn up the heat on the other team & coaches.

I think we can be as good as '22 by the 4th game next year, maybe sooner. If we can get it together that quick, we have a really good shot at the playoffs.
OL pass protection is the question mark...it has to perform better than that for us to compete with the better SEC teams.

We had a true freshman, getting pressure behind a struggling OL, against a stout defense, and he never lost his composure, panicked, or even really looked too bothered. I'm not sure which was more impressive, that or the smooth reads.

I agree with this. I know Campbell didn't play today. Did Spraggins? My biggest concern with the OL is lack of quality depth. I was hoping we'd find a portal OG to start opposite Spraggins, but that's starting to look unlikely. And should anyone get hurt, I worry about depth.

Yes, and can we please play well against Florida next year? All losses this year are understandable except Florida.

Opening up multiple BILLIONS to share instead of the current millions. It’s understandable that they pine for the days that scholarships, free books and medical care were sold as sufficient. But the best programs always knew how to funnel money to the best players and did so with full autonomy from NCAA cronies. Pennies on the dollar red Dodge Chargers and no show jobs for Mama to million plus deals in plain sight. In retrospect, which is obviously seedy?
Just saying you will have to do collective bargaining if you try to set a cap like MLB and NFL> Opens a different can of worms. Better to let the market set itself.
