We can’t discuss who coaches would prefer bc none of them are here to tell us… I also don’t agree that we beat them in ppg bc we played our starters more… Missouri gave up 27 points to KSU, 27 to Memphis… 49 to LSU…. 31 at home to Florida… 19 to MTSU in an almost upset…… doesn’t seem a lot better to Banks, imo If College football coaches thought so highly of home…. he wouldn’t have been at Missouri in the first place.

Still surprised no one is talking about Heupel coming out with a power-i for short yardage. . .

He did it against Bama, and freaked the players out. Saban said they'd never seen it and didn't know what to do against it. lol

Tinfoil hat time: why would he do that if we're a cash cow anyway for the SEC? They stand to gain nothing by "allowing" us to be anything more than a 9-4 type team. We're a "captured" fanbase that will stick around even when we're terrible.

*I saw this when we were walking around downtown Knoxville a couple of days ago.

I wonder how different the conference would have been if the SEC headquarters was located anywhere else besides the state of alabama (since 1948). I don't think the tide's history would be as impressive and I don't think they'd have as many SEC championships. They've had "help" along the way. Whatever group let the SEC be based out of the tide's backyard were idiots.

Hell if I’m Heupel I’m trying to get Phil Parker away from Iowa and into a DC spot. Broyles award winner and nationally respected DC. Veteran Defensive Backs coach and puts guys into the league. I doubt he leaves Iowa though. Been there forever as DB coach and the last 10 or so years as DC

I feel like you could potentially win a National Championship with Banks but your recruiting is going to have to be Bama/UGA level. Otherwise you’ll get rammed through the rear end more times than not Vs high quality offenses
